To Cubs fans, maybe it isn't, but to the Sox, it was a really big game. This team is on the rise and with Eloy going back to Wrigley and having that happen, it was huge. This team lacks the starting pitching this year to make noise, but it is coming. This team is having fun and is really fun to watch.

Yes! He was dialed in at Birmingham shortly after the trade if I remember correctly. Hit over .350 with a few moon shots! Reminds me a lot of Jermaine Dye’s frame. Only his legs generate a ton of his power simply by standing up out of the crouch. Looks so effortless.

Unfortunately looks like the Cubs have Giolito’s Number. Always going to be a team that will get a pitcher. Ivan Nova has surpassingly stumped the Cubs two games..go figure.

Stocking up quite heavily on Eloy cards. Mostly autos when I can but I take any I can find. So far have a Finest /25 auto, a 2019 Bowman green shimmer /99 auto, a 2019 Bowman mega refractor auto and a stadium club auto I won in a break where I bought the Sox. I also got the sp variation of Eloy from that break plus the Frank Thomas sp variation.

Same break also got a bunch of regular Eloy rookies, a red and black foil regular Thomas and a Kopech /50 auto. Same break I bought into a finest break fro the White Sox got a Tim Anderson /99 Auto and Kopech auto. Also picked up when I bought the above Bowman Mega auto was another Tim Anderson Auto and 3 of the Finest Eloy colors. Refractor, /99 and the /250 refractors. Lastly of Eloy of note is a Bowman purple /250. Of course I have a ton of Topps rookies, Stadium club like mentioned, Finestna dmost other releases.

Still have a bunch to go but I am struggling to want to get his earlier cards in a Cubs uniform despite them being his "huge"cards. Eventually.

Agree. Especially with the white Sox colors I had to spring for the black. Used some ebay bucks to pay for most of it so it was an easier decision. I think it will be one of if not the top RC for him eventually.

Well I’m obviously biased but I’d pull the trigger! What will ultimately be the most desirable rookies of players in today’s day with so many products? My guess is valuable flagship variations/parallel, Topps Chrome auto, Heritage real one / black refractors, maybe dynasty or a transcendent? Those are the ones I will target at least.

I love parallels that play off the color scheme of the team as well, so Topps black and white Sox go well together!
