I would have thought more people would have wanted a binder.

Question for everyone. What do you keep in your binder? All cards or do you keep your more expensive cards out of the binder.

Any sets that I keep in binders all the cards are in there. Now with that being said I do not have any sets with cards worth more than $200+/-.

Just thinking with Twin Peaks if you have a dual Lynch/MacLachlan where do you put it?

I collect the binders but I do not store any cards in them.

As far as cards, I only collect autographs & sketches. I use a binder with pages that have 4 pockets that hold cards in toploaders.

I grabbed a binder awhile back, just haven't done anything with it yet. I plan on putting the base and insert sets, which I'm still working on, in the binder. Still haven't decided what I'll do with the autos. I might put them all in one touches and make a display just for the classic autos. I don't think I'll get the full set but I've made a pretty big dent so far.

I put all of the Twin Peaks cards in my binder except the auto cards. I put those in a poly/top loader/perfect fit.

I didn't know about those 4 pocket pages. I need to research that.

Here's a link to the ones that I use. They are $13.29 and if you provide your email, you will get 20% off your first order.

Here's a link for the 3"x4" divided pages that you need to hold the toploaders. JoAnn sold them before for $2.99 for 10 pages but they seem to be out of stock or not carrying them anymore. The cheapest that I see on Amazon are $19.99 and they were much cheaper in the past too.

Thanks. Do you or anyone else know of a 3 ring page that would fit a top loader in a perfect fit sleeve? I'd love to put my auto cards in a Twin Peaks binder.

Update: Found this and it might be my best option - https://www.ebay.com/itm/100-Ultra-P...KtZS:rk:6:pf:0

Will be a bit loose though.

I'm putting everything in the binder other than the plates/exclusives and The Lynch, Duchovny, Ontkean type cards etc. I put the autos in a penny sleeve and then into the 9 pocket page.

This company makes 3 ring pages for toploaders but they only have 6 pockets.

Here's a pic of my binder setup.

Make sure you use lifters so they don't accidentally get damaged by the rings.

I've kept my base set and inserts in the binder, all of the autos have gone into matching mag cases for a wall display

I use 6 page top loader binders for all my sketch master sets and other sketch collections. They are highly recommended. I do like a licensed binder for base card master sets and autos, but I’m less worried about auto condition tbh and only collect autos as a by product of collecting sketches and for sets I really love.

When I first started I had a tonne of one touch holders to keep my sketches in but it’s so hard to get them out and flick through them, plus those boxes quickly add up to a storage problem. I don’t think my girlfriend would ever let me get away with a huge display of sketches on the wall either, haha, so once i got over putting $$$ prized sketches in a top loader binder, there was no looking back for me. Super safe (stored away in a nice dry, dark place of course) and great for picking up and admiring the collection whenever it takes my fancy. You can have 1000’s of sketches safely tucked away in one drawer...

Do you use the ones from http://toploaderbinder.com/ or a different brand?

Yeah, i use that brand. I think they're around $40-50 and come with 25 or so 6 pocket pages. Only problem is it's a US based company and i'm in the UK so it costs me another $50 to get it shipped! When you weigh that up long term vs one touches though it's way cheaper.

These would work just as well for an auto collection of course.

One other consideration for sketches in these binders is weight. 25 pages of 6 x top loaders is fairly heavy, so I always tend to put any painted cards near the top, in the first few pages and in slightly thicker top loaders to give them a little room to breathe. This reduces the chance of the paint/oils sticking to anything. Same goes for one touches too though with these types of sketches. They even have a little pocket on the spine of the binder so you can tuck a card in there relevant to the set, which is a nice touch.

Here's my set up and an example binder...

Very nice. What's the max number of pages you can put in one of them?

35 pages is about the limit in my experience with standard top loaders. I don’t have any more than that in any of mine.

You can buy extra pages separately from the company and top up the 25 you get with the binder at point of purchase.
