TGIF! Just a little 1997-98 Spx rainbow today, inspired by a recent post by 8collector34.

I'd love to pick up the gold to finish but would prefer not to be evicted from my home at this time lol.

Ah, yes the Gold would be nice, the prices on these MJ cards can be a real bummer. But never mind all that, LOVE this post. Oddly enough, the BASE card is the nicest for me!!! Great action and any card that shows off a player's signature shoes is a plus!

Thanks. Love seeing Air Jordans 1-12 on card back in simpler times when they released one a season. "It's gotta be the shoes!"

Updating with a couple of recent mail days.

1996-97 Bowman's Best refractor (thanks to member charly41 for helping me land one)

1995-96 SP Premium Collection Holoview

I would liked to have got the rarer die cut version but didn't think the extra price tag was worth it for little difference.

ah, any MJ refractor is ALWAYS an excellent pickup, those things have just exploded across the board. I wanted to get to 10 total in my collection and barely made it- only because I managed to pull 5 of them lol. Next stop, 15 total MJ refractors and taking out a second mortgage on a house I don't even own yet

charly41 is a good guy! Awesome!!! Stunning card too!

Also LOVE the Holoview. Those are amazing cards with appeal that will probably hold up for ever. I will have to go out of my way to acquire that one day, beautiful card.

Wow it's been nearly a year since I picked up any new MJs but when my daughter was recently born at 23 minutes past the hour I had to pick up a classic to celebrate:

1992-93 Stadium Club Beam Team

Mailday! Dinged the card very slightly on the upper right hand edge while cracking it out of a BGS case. Needless to say the language that was said at the time can't be repeated on here.

I'm a little OCD and prefer all my cases uniform. Obviously would never crack a gem but this was only an 8. It's not something I do very often- PSA's pop open easily but i'll think twice on those chunky BGS cases next time.

What a nightmare. I am not a nervous guy, but the shaking of my hands increase with card value. It stops once the card is out of the BGS case and in a penny sleeve. I am ashamed to say, but I did drop cards that way.

Never the less. Nice addition!
