Agreed. I've only bought two raw ones from ebay that looked clean. Luckily they both came back 10's. Almost all the other ones I looked at had chipping on the back.

How in the heck does a raw disco prism trade for $460? You can get a PSA 10 for sub $1K, so that seems like a risky bet to me. With that being said, I still don’t understand why the green and disco trade at a discount to the base “silver”

Can’t let you to have all the fun… I would love to get my hands on a red, blue and orange PSA 10. However, the supply available on eBay is limited and the owners are looking for huge premiums relative to actual sales comps

Was cleaning some pics out of my phone today and came across this. I took this pic when I bought it at a mall show in Independence, MO (like 2 miles from Arrowhead Stadium) last September. I ended up getting it for $70.

Man I know everyone is all about PSA I just don’t get it. The fact that you can pick up bgs or sgc so much cheaper is the the way I’m going. I have a ton of both that I just can’t see the difference in the cards. I buy the card not the holder. And the fact that the biggest company’s in the world when it comes to grading can’t get on the same page is BS in my opinion. I understand its about popularity and in my opinion that is all that it is.

I was watching it, too. I was hoping to pick it up for around the $400 range. I was way off. I think these are really going to take off. Makes me glad I picked up a BGS 9.5 a few months back...

I picked up a select silver prizm #247 on 4/2 that was listed very poorly for $202.50. Seller made mention of a small surface dot, but that generally doesn't hurt the grade too bad. Either way, as a 9, based on that last sale, I'll do alright.

That was a great buy. Those surface dots are somewhat common on #247’s and they will/do unfortunately cause the card to 9. Regardless, I’d buy that card at that price 10 times out of 10.

Im afraid it's gonna be a tough game. The comps just dont seem to keep up for long, so to get in you just have to shop well or pay a small premium.

Frustrating day.. nobody is selling And optic prices just keep climbing. Holo 10 just sold for $1090.
