I feel like that "lose interest" moment is coming sooner rather than later. Once we have these consistent print runs around 20,000 people are going to realize the next Ermsy Trout isn't walking through that door anytime soon and they'll stop buying every day.

Then once they're gone, and someone makes another real ugly one, BOOM! Ermsy Trout Part 2.

I had a guy message me this on eBay about a card in the 50s that Topps hasn't even shipped yet:

Buyers are definitely nervous about cards that shot up. So it makes sense. Would think your eBay track record should ease worries more than a meaningless "I promise to ship" like you shouldn't already be promising that, but IDK. Just buy from people with integrity rather than trying to save a dollar buying from a hype beast, and it should be fine.

I think it’s insane NOT to put 10 packs on the credit card. It’s WAY easier to dispute any potential problems from Topps with credit companies than it is with debit. Plus, free cash back and/or points????

agree. this is a no-no. pre-selling cards is risky enough. pre-selling a card where you're not an original owner is down-right idiotic unless you don't mind negative feedback. any seller that cancels on me is getting neg'd (immediately).

Two cards I think are primed to double in the next few days are the Ermsy Gooden and Ermsy Ichiro. Both have fairly low PR's for what appears to be a super popular artist moving forward. If the Gibson is close to 10k as expected I think those two could see a big bump.

Oldmanalan’s Rivera has a shot. I also think Shore’s McGwire will as well - only five other cards have a lower print run.

Bro! The first rule of hype club is you do not employ logic. Every card will be worth $1,000, all my extrapolated graphs prove it.

I seriously hope artists are paid per card some nominal amount like $1-$2 and didn't get lump payments.
