True. Some of you artists put my "fun" card to shame. But I think it's better than the Solefly Pujols...

Part of my job is giving feedback to trainees. It's supposed to be timely, specific and offer the opportunity for improvement.

Calling out someone for amateurish photoshop the day of their first release is not far off from that. If an artist wants to sell more cards, they should value peoples opinions. I'm sure it isn't always easy to read (if they're amongst the ones that creep on the boards) but its still more useful than someone that comments with three fires emojis on an IG post then never buys a single card.

Most of you wouldn't buy that, but my 11-year-old is proud of me for trying and that's all that matters.

My rad JK5 video: Close your eyes, and see me create this masterpiece (though I'm not sure how you'll read this but whatever).

See there I am, smoking a doobie. Over top of all of this I'm talking about Nolan's legacy, and about how art makes anonymous people rain hate or praise, and about how all of everything there is is just a mirror.

Oh snap, it's me again, turning on a computer!

Cut to me cutting my own photos of me putting for the green areas, then cut to me cutting my own picture of the turf at Centurylink during the Seahawks/Niners game two years ago.

Sweet music continues...

Back to me, going back to the doobie.

Wild transition music and frames cut to me cutting my own sunset and sunrise photos into the orange borders.

Cut to me and zoom in as I google "Bloody Nolan Ryan" now cut to me making it rain red, back to the photo results, and back to more raining of the red.

Transition to me stealing the canon from some random artist (sorry homie!). Cut to me coloring it and making it mine at the digital chop shop.

Doobie break!

Transition to me cutting my own sky photos for the blue areas. Cut to me cutting my own face in blue water digital edit into said blue areas (You can't tell its me but I know it's there ).

Cut to me trying to simply make the card not OC, multiple times and failing miserably. Cut to me emailing WMH and telling him to fix the border or leave it as an ode to Topps.

Sick outro.

BTW, Matt Taylor’s Canseco is a take on 1962 Topps, one of the worst looking sets, IMO- but he made it look toight

I made 2 of them that I sent to WMH.
The first one I liked better at the time and I gave it away to a good friend and Giants fan.
The second one is hanging on my wall and I took it down for a quick photo with the backdrop being another painting of mine.

Yeah but you didn't take a cropped photo put it on a borderless background and call it a day. I guess not everyone can be Don C.

Getting a little Wotherspoon vibe from that second one Tupac. Nice!

Sorry if this has been posted already (having a hard time both working and following along) but it looks like Matt Taylor is doing both Ruth and Tatis:

I guess it will be more cohesive, but I kind of wish Taylor varied his color pallet more.

The consistency might make for a really nice print at the end I guess
