You're talking about Sarr right? Clingan went 7th and in a weak draft that's pretty much where a dude of his caliber would go. Clingan also has a playable skillset right now while Sarr... is still uh, finding himself.

Well I think it applies to Sarr, Clingan, and Edey who were all over drafted in a horrible draft.

I don't Edey is an NBA caliber starting center. Clingan is a guy who might be decent in the regular season but no good team is starting him in the playoffs.

Sarr is more of the "mystery box". He looks like he might one day be able to do NBA things? If you put him in 2K

You know what guys like Edey and Clingan are. They have no upside but like kind of a high floor?

You basically have no clue what Sarr might be. People can convince themselves that he will be able to shoot despite any evidence. Or convince themselves he might be some Mobley level all-nba defender despite the evidence...

Ware is more of the prototype 4/5 big man in terms of athleticism and defensive versatility. He's clearly the more talented of the two on the offensive end. I think Clingan has a really high defensive IQ - even if he's a bit of a plodder - and is a better rebounder, which is a bit of an underrated skill these days. Both have value.

Nembhard signs a three year deal with Pacers for $59 million. That both locks him in and makes him easier to trade.

If Clingan and Edey end up being as good as Kessler...that's a plus for this class, right? People were talking like they all would suck

Until his developmental window has shut, Clingan has a higher ceiling than Kessler by far. There's a chance he develops into a good passer and has a much higher offensive usage than Kessler if he does.

He might, but that’s not really saying much.

Unless he starts shooting 3s at a clip above 30% or shows some offensive polish outside of 3ft I don’t buy the upside

Basically any big man that can’t shoot and can’t defend the perimeter is useless in todays NBA

Leave it up to the Blowpitian delegation to issue the Bronny decree on a hyper versatile slenderman that was top 5 in stocks and led all bigs in assists, all while being slated to be 4th or 5th in the offensive pecking order for the Wizz.

Meanwhile, french dressing Kevin Knox gets rizzed up for his 0 steals, 7th worst +/- and 39/25/43 (b-b-but...potential!) splits as a shooting forward while he inches towards filling Dejoontay's role behind Good Hair.

This is peak Blowout even by peak Blowout standards.

Maybe the reason I mention things twice or even three time is that BJ doesnt really capture the nuance of stuff. He just kind of posts news to be the first one in.

To commit a Blowout faux pas and mention Nembhard and crew yet again... [moved]

The Jalen Smith effect. but honestly these things can be taught? I have never heard of these guys so they must be just out of college. Buy them up to the moon JIC.

(just in case). I mean you don't want a sleeper to emerge and be unable to capitalize on the hype.

Dude it sounds like you want Sekou Part Deux badly

There's no Sarr Prizm bass to stack yet so you still have time to unconvince yourself
