We also talk about the NFC Championship game we won in 2007. That was cool as well.

The difference is, we have a Super Bowl to celebrate. We weren't trash for 70 years prior to that, we actually won 7 other Championship titles before. Nothing to erase.

Only a Lions fan would think mentioning all of the past Championships the Bears have won, would be an insult!

Vikings brag about winning the last NFL title despite it being really nothing more the the NFC championship game as they went on to lose one of 4 SB's. That and brag about their stadium being so nice despite looking like a Jawa Sandcrawler.

The difference is, all of those Bears Championships from 1963 and prior, were all THE league Championships.

As you pointed out, when the Vikings finally won the NFL side in 69, which is the NFC Conference today. They played in Super Bowl IV that season, and got smashed by the Chiefs.

Aint no title, if you weren't the best team that year. Which makes the Bears count, and the Vikings not!

The Bears won a super bowl, and an NFC crown. The Lions never did. I point out the Lions haven't won a playoff game, in 30 years. Its true. I say the Lions have never won the NFC North, and they haven't. We make fun of the Lions having multiple zero win seasons, and it happened.

They really should rename it for him. What did George Halas ever do for Pro Football? Clay Sr did so much for the city of Detroit, and the dozens of Lions fans out there.

To be fair though Favre came to GB the season after the Lions went to the NFCC and pretty much the Lions sucked for the next 30 years. Lions I believe had a 20 year losing streak at Lambeau also during that time.
