No, actually my problem is I spent way too much on Eloy and White Sox stuff (with a little..okay a lot of wax, Acuna and Trout in between). I'm a White Sox fan that doesn't know better though so it's okay...

Even if he slumps the rest of the way and does nothing in the playoffs his RCs will be on fire in February.
If he takes ROY and shines in the postseason, it’s gonna be even more nutso.

lot of people acting like he's not that expensive. His super sold for $10,000 which is a lot for a prospect who isn't that well known.

You can go pick up a Wander Franco gem chrome auto for the same price of Yordan. Yordan sells for less than Acuna, Soto(I think so anyways), and a few others. He is having a rather historic rookie season, and will play in what 90 games and win ROY in a landslide.

With a full year in that stacked lineup, I can't even imagine his numbers next season. His prices could really take off like Acuna's did this year.

Tim Anderson has batted .362 (and this isn't even the best AL split...Bregman batted .375)
Gio Urshela has batted .306 (just for you, TBP)
Michael Brantley has batted .300
DJ LeMahieu has batted .277
Yordan has batted .267

He may not have a chance anymore for the title, but I'm still hoping he maintains his RBI/game rate!

He is averaging a HR every 7 ab's. The plate discipline and control of the K zone is a very uncommon trait for an elite HR hitter of this nature. His batted ball numbers are downright scary and elite. Not to mention the ballpark he plays in, lineup protection etc.. It's a freakish combination of factors.

I just wouldn't rule it out based on the June call up and (recent) history backs that.
