This one’s an easy PSA 9… it is an interesting question though: do you think a PSA 9 would sell at a pretty good premium to a BGS 9.5 min gem??? Because, if not, you’d lose $$ in that re-holdering given transaction costs.

It also brings up the interesting question: what do you think is the premium is for a PSA 9 over 8 in a black?

I'm 100% all for PSA, but I would keep that Yordan Black in BGS holder.

I would imagine the 9.5 would outsell the PSA 9 (added value for potential crack and re-sub by next buyer).

I would put odds at 5% PSA 10, 60% PSA 9, 30% PSA 8, 5% PSA 7

The difference between a PSA 9 and PSA 8 would be minimal for the Black IMO. The card is just too rare.

Regardless - amazing card.

Regardless - amazing card.

The crazy thing on this card, and what frustrates me about their centering grade: this one is not a 9.5 on front of card center - it’s at best a 9. It’s corners are also not a 9 - they are 9.5 (sharp and only the most modest white… I have other cards with similar white and 9.5 corners and many in PSA 10 holders).

Thus why I find graded cards so annoying in the first place. All these grading firms are mostly waaay off, and folks treat the grade like it’s accurate.

Generally I prefer better centered, but few folks have my ADD on that Topps logo being well positioned, when there is no border

I will continue to stick with raw, when possible.

I still want a psa 9+ flagship rainbow. Problem is I have alot of 8s! I'm in no big rush though.

It'll happen. You're further along than I am. I need a camo next, and I'd settle for a PSA 8 if one popped up.

Haha, that would defeat the purpose of why I bought it!

Once I send the raw black refractor in to PSA, I'll have red through base in PSA slabs and the CSG will be the oddball. I think it looks great in that slab though.

I have an BGS 8.5 Gold and a raw gold pulled from a a ClevelandIC break.Eventually I will get around to grading it and hopefully it gets a 10.
