I love the approach that Dante Bichette is taking with Vlad. Just hit the ball. Don't worry about launch angles, get deep into counts, lay off junk pitches and wait for yours and then HIT. Vlad took Yankees pitchers deep into the count a few times, seems like it's paying off.

Default Vladimir Guerrero, Jr.

I might the world’s preeminent hoarder of Vlad mystery autos (hopefully that’s a good thing), but this is my first 10. Maybe with his lackluster age-21 season, these will soon be showing up at offseason bargain prices...

My Sterling rainbow was already complete, but it doesn’t hurt to add a beauty like this gold in a 10 case.

Default Vladimir Guerrero, Jr.

A couple thoughts...

First, does Vlad look like he’s starting to slim down a little? I’m not saying he’ll be slipping into Dee Gordon’s clothes anytime soon, but it does appear some air has been released from the balloon.

Secondly, when you consider how many at-bats young hitters need to really find their stride at the major league level, it’s entirely reasonable to think that, if there were another 102 games in this season, Vlad would follow his early-season pedestrian performance with a second-half breakout. Last year, for instance, Soto didn’t look great early on, and it took most of the season before Eloy caught fire in the final month.

Of course, there aren’t those additional 102 games, so we won’t have the chance to see whether Vlad’s progression is right around the corner.

Instead, we’ll have to wait until next year, during his age-22 season, to see if and when it all clicks for him.

This is the most important part, IMO. He's only 21 and will only be 22 next season! Don't give up on him yet people

It is. There is nothing to see here. Move along. Move along. Pay no attention to all the NNO selling for $15.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

It's a slow start to his career save the HR derby, but when this kid figures it out, the hitting won't stop.

Couple of RBI knocks for Vladdy tonight. I’m really happy to see the kid finishing the year on a high note

A silver lining to his abundance of hard-hit ground balls is that he’s the master of the double down the line.

Some of those drives do remind me of Will Clark. Screamers!

I listed the Vlad 2019 Topps Chrome superfractor on my ebay this afternoon. One of my local customers pulled it last year open to selling it.
