9 raids, a 98% Lapras and a 92% Shiny lapras. My son and I went until we both got a shiny

Saturday was fun. We had a group of 6 and did 47 raids. If we could have stuck to our normal route(it involves 2 cemeteries, and given it was memorial day weekend, ti felt extra wrong to be in there so we passed) we could have ended up with about 50-55.

Got 4 Shiny(best was a 91), a Hundo, a 10/10/10, and then the rest were complete trash.

Also did about 40 raids yesterday working on that regular raid badge, but no shiny Bronzors or anything of note. I did get a Shiny Creselia(Aka Moon Duck). Its a useless mon, but the shiny looks amazing.

Counting down the days until deep dish pizza...i mean Go Fest.

Ended up doing 18 lapras raids with 2 Shinies. Neither were very good. Best overall that i got was a 91%. The weird thing was it was sunny and warm, nicest day of the year so far and then halfway through the game changed it to Rainy weather so we got weather boosted for the rest of the raids.

Also ended up doing some Cresselia raids yesterday, no shinies yet. Just trying to complete as many Win 5 raid quests as possible

35 lappys. 4 shinies on my main account and got 1 for my wife. 98% was the best one non shiny. Got a shiny zigzagoon as i was heading home. Plenty of laprases to trade now. Always nice to have good ice beam lappys but i dont see me using it over mamoswines... havent done any cresselias yet so i need to get on the ball to grab a shiny of that.
My side account always gets so lucky got a hundo riolu in a trade a few days ago.. then today got a hundo ho oh on research tasks then hatched a shiny luvdisc right after...

Ewwww, really? I tossed those only looking for the Bronzor ones, and in the case I finished all them i took Absol haha.

I throw away the TMs by the dozen after I get over 20 of each.

I just found a raid group as of last week, so I currently have completed only 8 Legendary raids. So I am short on TMs with lots of stuff I could use them on. I havent had great luck getting them from T4 raids that my GF and I could duo. I have 10 Fast TMs and 15 Charged TMs at the moment so for me, someone who is just starting Legendary raids, they come in useful at the moment.

I did a handful of the charge tm quests bc i was low on those.. i definitely delete fast tms in bunches. Ive been doing a pokedraft thung with friends where we hold a pokemon fantasy draft. Snake draft 12 rounds. You end up with 12 mons and we see who can take down tier 3 bosses the fastest. Must use 6 unique pokemon and no relobby. Unless i shell out dust to unlock a second move ive been having to burn through charge tms. With 8 people you start drafting mons you dont normally use

Oh wow, then yea that's totally understandable. The Lapras numbers you did was impressive so I was under the impression you do a ton or raids regularly and had plenty stacked up

I can understand. I stumbled upon the group during the Raid Hour last Wednesday when my gf and I were driving around doing raids. That night we both did our first 5 star raid. Ive only been playing for about 5 months, and only more that casual for the last 3. I hit Lvl 35 during Lapras day so I am pretty happy with my progress. Up until this event Ive been using all my charged tms on my 2 100% Machamps to get dynamic punch. Finally after probably using 10 on each, I got them both back to back.

I was really hoping it would be a variant and stay like that. It would be the only thing I would throw in gyms until the day I stop playing this game haha

I was hoping, but ti makes sense they do it for Munchlax. I hate when they do an evolution shiny before the base(Gengar, or when you could get Nidorina or Nidoqueen in the wild last fall)

got a new phone last week, decided to re download the app yesterday. haven't played in quite some time, very hesitant to open the app because the last time I played the game was just killing my battery.

I just downloaded it again yesterday as well for some reason. Lots of changes since I last played in 2017

Well back from Go Fest and it was fun, but exhausting. Explored the city as much as possible. I walked 60 mile sin 4 days. The fest itself was fun, but at first it was very discouraging because my shiny odds were trash. Through the first 6 hours I had 3 Shiny, but it picked up at the end and I finished with 13.

Here are the shinys I got:
2 Gastly
1 Sandshrew
1 Houndour
2 Horsea
1 Machop
1 Absol
2 Geodude
1 eevee with the flower
1 Drifloom

My Jirachi was also a 93% so that was cool.

I was also able to finish my unowns at the trading post. I got a Z for a Shiny Lugia(that wasn't even a dex entry for the person, so it was only 10,000 dust. and the Q(which i believe is the most rare) I got for a Shiny Swablu which cost me 500k dust, but since it was the last one I didnt care. sitting at 20M dust right now lol

Sweet trades. Nobody would give me a shiny for any of the unowns i have. I always thought unown is rarer than shiny.

Shiny flower eevee = awesome.

I got a shiny misdreavious in nj so that made me happy =)

Ended up with 17 Shinys on Saturday even with the evacuation. Hopefully my son and I can get some more this weekend with the extra time.

Ended up burning through 1.5 Mil in dust with 3 of my trades because they didn’t have the shiny for the ones I received, however I am now only 2 Shinys away from a COMPLETE living shiny Dex. Only need 1 more Shiny Ash Hat Pikachu and the Party Hat Pichu!!!

The pic attached are now my pride and joys of my collection lol
