This is a strange list. Clearly Authentic at #4? Ginter over Topps Chrome? Also I'm not a Panini hater, but no way does the Rated Rookie belong above any Topps release.

I think Bowman Chrome, Flagship (S2, Update, RD), Heritage are safe bets. Avoid base, the rarer the card, the better.

That list almost reads like a joke. Mixing low-end base card with high-end auto card and what is his criteria for the ranking? That bowman paper base #49 was never chased and got #1.

So, what would your educated opinions be on choosing one or the other:

Option A - 2018 Bowman Chrome Refractor /499 PSA 10
Option B - 2018 New Era PSA 10

I love them both but need to decide to keep one. It's like Sophie's choice! Without both actual humans or Meryl Streep involved!

I agree the list is strange.

The criteria is stated as which cards they think are more likely to have the greatest ROI. I'm assuming they mean prices as of time of writing

Interesting. It was not accurate when it was published. Some picks are just laughable. They have two Japanese cards and neither is his actual Japanese RC. The 2014 isn’t even a RC as far as I am aware.

I saw this card for sale yesterday and thought the price seemed to good to be true? Did anyone on this board buy it? Was also worried it could be a fake. Told my wife I wanted to pull the trigger on the card.

Think it’s fake since transcendent cards would be too thick to fit in a normal top loader. Also, don’t think it has the gold on edges.

I think it's fake. Usually transcendent cards have a gold frame.

I just pulled this Heatwave die cut auto /50 from Bowman’s Best.

I was thinking of redeeming it first and then deciding if I’d like to keep or sell. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues before getting redemptions from Ohtani.

Yeah probably not for that price anymore unfortunately 🙁. Also Goldin ones are out of 3 and not 1/1. Sorry about that.

Last time, I redeemed an Ohtani Auto was in 2018 and took about 3 months from July-Oct. However, maybe this is due to the baseball season occurring at time of the redemption.
