It was part of a lot I bought a lot in 2019 on BO where the seller was dejected from pulling so many Ohtani cards that instead of listing, he posted a youtube video flipping through the cards with a 'take it all' lot price of $150. There was a bowman chrome blue and purple refractor, sapphire RC, 4 bowman chrome base, 12-15 HHN/Flagship RCs, and a bunch of TC RC inserts. Now I also sold the Bowman chrome blue that graded a PSA 10 for $400 so not everything is a good memory

That's amazing....and something (insane, unilateral, meteoric rise in pricing) that is hard to imagine happening again anytime soon with a current MLB player.

Hey guys I have some rarer ohtani cards, topps finest orange wave refractor and green five star auto psa 10. What would be the best way to sell them? I kind of feel iffy selling on eBay to buyers with low review score/count.

I always say something on eBay like "I reserve the right to cancel/refund any buyers with low or sketchy looking feedback". Never had to do it, hope the statement works as a deterrent?

Sorry noob question, I’ve never tried or even imagined of selling on here, how does that work here? You just have to trust the other person? Seems more sketchy to me, no offense lol unless I can meet them in person I guess than can work, although that kinda limits my audience

I would send it to a consigner. It's higher end but not quite Goldin level. Any reason why you didn't grade the wave?

I got it when PSA was starting to get super backed up and just didn’t want to wait super long and pay super high price for the grading. Then just got lazy lol

Grade the wave - not worth a NAD even through a consignor. Back edges are tough on that card but even a 9 isn't bad.

Don't send it to Beckett unless you think it's a PSA 9 with a shot at a BGS 9.5. Otherwise a PSA 9 will outsell a BGS 9 any day.

You will also have a lot more luck selling here by listing your price. There are a lot of us here with means to buy but don't enjoy haggling. The 2021 Ohtani season was enough of a pricing adventure.
