As far as I'm aware, none of the Laker fans on this forum are as smug and arrogant the same way as the detractors on this forum are. Its ok to be wrong, the Lakers aren't contending. Its been a very tough season to date as a Westbrook/Laker fan but... shock, horror, life goes on outside of the blowout forum... you guys can continue on with puffing out your chests and absolutely reveling in others failures! - It is pretty weird seeing this as what people derive the most pleasure from, but very thankful its not a mentality I possess.

They're enjoying 20% shooting nights and 4th quarter benchings

I do find it funny the big market fans (LA, Boston, NY) who boast about all their championships like it even matters. The Lakers won a single title in the last decade, and aren't winning another one for the next decade so I'm sure rats is just basking in the glory of the 1949 title team

Rats is probably the only guy on the board who was around for Minneapolis’s 1949 title.

I've seen Barkley/KJ, Nash/Amare, and now Booker/Paul. Zero Championships and Two Finals. We seem to stumble on a good team every ten years. A little different luck and those groups have a title apiece (Sorry Rockets, Spurs and Bucks fans)
Lets rank the teams on the premise of the experience being a fan from 1980 to present Lakers Bulls Celtics Spurs Detroit Philly Miami Cleveland Utah Golden State Houston Dallas Phoenix Portland Indiana Toronto Nets Orlando Knicks Atlanta Sacramento I probably have Philly (DrJ, AI and now Embiid is a fun run) and Miami (those Lebron teams are the closest I've felt to MJs Bulls) too high and GSW too low. I went through this too fast, likely forgotten many memorable moments, but it was fun to think through and I'm curious what others find memorable |

And now I snubbed the Bucks with a big game coming tonight, the wound is still too fresh.

Nash just used his one and only challenge on a play half way thru the 3rd quarter in a 4 point game.

KD can't come back fast enough for the Nets.

Headcase for a headcase. I guess, only difference is one headcase was at least willing to semi-play through the phuckery.
Brooklyn fleeced Philly though. Got a capable combo guard that can hold it down during Rie's absences and anchor the bench. And a desperately needed big. The 2 firsts were just additional insult to injury. I guess the big question is...what version of beard will Philly receive...and how will Ben perform/not perform if they make the postseason...which is still a big if at this point. If he enjoyed the Philly media...he's absolutely going to LOVE New York.

Has a team that lost 10 in a row in the regular season ever made an NBA Final? (Probably not right?)
And it's going to be 11 after Miami.

Planet Pat just doesn't have it from distance tonight unfortunately. Bucks getting good looks though so hopefully they'll go in in the 2nd half. Also, not sure why they were putting a guard on Ayton in the paint. He had like 5 easy baskets because of it.

Suns Bucks feels like a heavy weight fight. Trading jabs. Giannis looking engaged. Ayton playing big. Good stuff

memphis , chicago, and toronto......loving them. Miami is my dark horse.
I watch east coast cuz west/blazers suck. These are actual teams. not super anything, but gritty and trying to put a stamp on their new rep. |
