AP image quality is slightly better in the ways people have detailed- smaller, finer, more vivid print. The silver frame adds to the aesthetics of some cards and its weight gives a permanence to them that makes them feel special.

In terms of foil vs AP, I personally prefer APs. I think as a parallel series, they are more in line with what I expect from premium art cards. I don't know that the market will agree here, since the things that make a foil card compelling (it's shiny!) are easier to understand without ever having one in hand.

The weight of the APs in hand feels awesome. I owned a few P2020 ones but the buy in at 299 was painful in hindsight.

As others have mentioned the price point on these is better. Although, much like P2020 I can see them bump them in the future.

I’ve scored 4 (Baller x Mookie, Ermsy x Tatis, Snoop x Acuna, and Distordedd x Pedro) with no intentions of selling. I’m also being very selective which ones I try for.

I’ve been trying long enough I know the ins and outs on how to refresh the pages, etc. It’s a science... lol.

Also being very fast and lucky helps.

I also hit a foil from P2020 but they weren’t numbered which was a downside (I like that) and the odds seemed way better than these /70 editions which is why I’m hesitating to chase them. I may get some on secondary but that will depend if I want to go for the rainbow (probably minus 1/1) on some cards.

All I can tell you is that any limited GPK stuff sells out instantly as you can see with this food fight release.

I did notice that topps.com homepage now has a placeholder for saturday/sunday on their weekly calendar -- I wonder if they are going to start releasing Project 70 on the weekends to make it by the end of the year?

yes I think you're right. The early AP were a surprise at $99 and not as hard to get, once it caught one it's now back to impossible. Last Firday's Soto/aaron release was so tough.

Took the plunge after sitting P2020 out. Bought a Naturel Soto and a Styles Aaron today. Really looking forward to how they’ll look together as artist sets. Loved the look of Naturel’s P2020 cards all together. And will be chasing the prints featuring all 20 cards for each artist.

Anyone know what is being released this week? Chang and Efdot I know on Monday then Tuesday, haven't heard any others?

And with Chang and Efdot that will be 12 of the 19 P2020 artists. Safe to say should see a lot of new artists this week! Rumor is the last 20 cards of the project will all be Don C cards....

I actually feel bad for the Snoop Acuna. It's just so easy to dunk on. I guess there's nowhere to go but up at least?

Normally I would take that as a sign to buy that up but man even I don't want to get stuck with that card.

So far the JK5 Vlad is the best card of the set. But I'm super into JK5 so super biased there.
