Some companies are going to skeleton shifts to keep employees employed - which means you only work a couple days a week. I would think getting laid off instead of suffering through that situation would be better as you can collect the unemployment benefits (which will be whatever you get plus $600 a week from the stimulus)

This is big because lot of people buy from Amazon
I use Amazon as one of my selling channels and my FBA orders have basically dwindled to 0 over the past few weeks.

I thought perhaps it was just me, but then I actually tried to make a Prime purchase for something I needed last night and realized almost everything non essential had a delivery time estimate of a month from now (WITH Prime).

I'm going to take a wild guess and say Ebay sellers that don't dropship have seen a massive surge over that same time frame.

And she answered that it would permit an abortion at that stage of labor. Do you support her measure? And explain her answer.

Ralph Northam: You know, I wasn’t there, Julie, and I certainly can’t speak for Delegate Tran, but I would tell you — one, the first thing I would say is this is why decisions such as this should be made by [healthcare] providers, physicians, and the mothers and fathers that are involved. There are — you know when we talk about third-trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of, obviously, the mother, with the consent of the physicians, more than one physician by the way. And it’s done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that’s non-viable. So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother. So I think this was really blown out of proportion …
If you believe in those rights you are a sick, twisted, and weak individual. I feel sorry for you.

So, since pipe bombs can do massive amounts of damage and are banned because of it, then what you are saying is that weapons of war should be illegal for an individual too?

I'm not happy with my own comparison. Let me backtrack. I think our broken system allowed that to happen. I think there were glitches in the system that allowed a sick individual to get to that point. I could sit here all night and talk about this but the oversight on our 2nd amendment is very weak. Our country was built on civil liberties. Both parties make infringement very difficult. Instead of taking it away totally both sides should come to common ground.

The Hobby Lobby thing is terrible, but many, many more layoffs like it are coming. These companies are at zero revenue. Again....the cost of long economical layoffs.

I have a feeling much more serious travel restrictions are coming so I made the 250 mile trip back to PA to grab things from that home, and 250 miles back into NY. I will say....I have NEVER seen the highways so empty and my time frame was 2-5 and then 7-10. The 7-10 outside of 18 wheelers I may have passed...20-30 cars in 250 miles. Stopped at a rest area where I was the only vehicle in the whole lot. I think people are taking it pretty serious.

I'm interested to see what the next few weeks hold. I am irritated that these governors keep one upping each other and pushing fear and hopelessness. There is nothing wrong with 2 weeks at a time.

Weapons of war are only allowed under certain permission. l know several people with permits to own fully auto weapons. Murder is illegal. You cannot legislate evil out of people. Even if you try and remove the tools, it will still happen.

virginia governer just shut down all non essentials until june 10th and put a stay at home order as well........ im pretty sure i heard that right; and as a resident it's pretty wild........ yet i still see significant traffic and people on the roads when i go to work; nobody around me is taking it seriously and it's unfortunate

medical people in the know and scientists are predicting peaks in the ballpark of mid to late may....... i figure at some point when numbers begin to overwhelm in terms of volume people will pay more attention; but by then it will be too late to stop whatever damage is done during peak incidence

Your comparison is fine. Miracle grow, cleaning solvent, and diesel fuel created one of the most deadly creations in our countries existence. All legal substances.

Pipe bombs are illegal, shooting someone who isn’t an immanent threat is illegal. Right and wrong are black and white.

Cars are legal. The 2016 Nice truck attack killed 86.

The point I’m making is again, you can create death and violence from anything. A firearm is a shield, not a weapon. A firearm is to protect you from harm.

6 more weeks of complete shutdown and a lot of these anti 2A idiots will be regretting not exercising their constitutional rights. It’s going to get ugly and home protection is paramount.

Yeah, here in the Bay Area we went to SIP in early March, most hospitals are running at half capacity right now, waiting for a surge that may not happen.

It is not a Quarantine at Home Order.

It is a

Go To Grocery Store
Go to Bank
Go to Pharmacy
Go Get Pet Food
Go to Church
Go to Child Care
Go to Volunteering
Essential Jobs (which there are a lot of in VA) go to work
Go Get Some Fresh Air Exercise while social distancing

People are still going to be on the road.

Yeah, I'm guessing there are going to be a lot more. The companies that are still paying people too be off are going to have to rethink that strategy pretty soon. When they made the initial decision, they were probably basing it off a 2-3 week shutdown. Now that it's going to go into May or beyond, they might not have the capital to keep paying employees to stay home.

It’s incredibly hard to get a full auto weapon. You have to wait like a year for the ATF to approve you and also drop 15k on the gun alone

I agree. We have seen how the Europeans have had to protect themselves. I am pro 2A. I am not trying to grab my mattress in an act of self defense. I currently have a Glock 28 and S&W 45 within arms reach.
