I mean you only have to look at the Giannis Castrol and New Balance Kawhi and Maxey "we got now" spots on NBA.com to know pundits never get the moment right. Especially now that decisions are by research team and algorithm.

Of course it helps to have the luxury of having the moment come to you.

Knicks game a little reminiscent of Pacers yesterday. One team just ran the S1 gauntlet and one street just back from Cancun.

Nembhard will maybe be valued the highest, as he came onto the Pacers second round of the draft. But Nesmith and then Haliburton mentored him, not to mention McConnell, Jenny Busik and the rest.

That is how I would think of the Pacers. If Nembhard is MJ, Nesmith is Pippen and Ty is just an entirely new wrinkle. Like Rodman in his time. Steph maybe a better analogy. Changed the game.

Must've been on drugs to say that...

Can't we just wait until Game 2 until the Pacers' post mortem? I mean I know they only stole one in Cleveland.

Just watching Jeff Teague and co. and they are same kind of doubters. Like, "no way Nesmith can equal that performance." Obviously they haven't watched a lick of Indiana ball last three months. Still think Nesmith is same level as Okoro. SMH.

They are also unanimous in predicting a double-digit Cavs victory in Cleveland tomorrow.

Funny how the one guy to make the right prediction is the one on drugs. Just listen to me. Im sure Ninja has retired on my tips by now.

Maybe after this series Knicks management will realize that you need bench players...

I remember in the old days, the closer you were to the hoop, the better chance you had of the shot going in. Oh wait, it's still like that but nobody cares and just jacks up shots from 100 feet away.

What an ugly game for the C's

They totally choked on this one. 15-60 from 3, that's 45 missed 3's.

Live by the 3, die by the 3.

Yep. I saw multiple players drive all the way to the rim only to kick it out. Many times, it looked a two pointer or foul seemed likely. Dumb.

Bridges! I can’t wait for all the incoming memes with Bridges as JB’s daddy. Jaylen is gonna get absolutely wrecked by the media, it will be interesting to see how he responds in game 2.

Brown looked compromised. If I was the Knicks, I keep letting him shoot from distance. No excuse for the others.

Cavs & C's both lose game 1. Guess it's gonna be Pacers vs Knicks in the east Finals then.

Oh well.

Nomad is winning.

Man both teams should be embarrassed....Knicks missed 17 free throws....Celtics missed 45 three-pointers.

Unfortunately even when both teams deserve to lose, someone still gets to win....
