A 700-card base set and a 164 AU subset w/ an array of parallels for ea. will produce a ton of product for sure but it'll have to end sometime.

If only they could have snuck those 1952 redemptions from the National into this set as inserts or whatever. That 1952 JRod is pretty sweet and might have propped up prices a bit.

TONS of players won't have pink autos (or any other autos) available. I think they just meant not guaranteed in the sense that you don't get one per box like you do (/are supposed to) with hobby.

I've been trying to figure out what you mean here. Are you saying this product is going to be scary as in good? It's never drying up, there is sooooo much out there.

2021 was truly junk wax 2.0. At the national every single dealer just had piles of this product and I didn't see a single soul buy one all weekend

Found 4 blasters in the wild today and snagged them up.

Glad I did. Closer to finishing the base set and had some pretty amazing luck.




The Dante Gold and Ryu came out of one blaster. The rest came out of the other three. The Yadi Red /100 & Eddie Murray auto were in the same pack and the Vlad Gold Auto /50 and the Sheffield Blue Ref /199 were in the same pack too.

No more lite boxes for me. Hobby and retail only.

Has anyone run the numbers? It doesn't seem like there's that many Lite boxes out there (did Topps even release it on their site?) Hobby has sold out. Maybe retail, but the rate people are hitting autos and whatnot from it, I can't imagine they made a TON of autos to go along with a TON of product...

I'm not going heavy on it, but I'm gonna hold a little bit for a rainy day...

There is tons of everything. Hobby, Lite, retail, autos, everything. That 240k hobby boxes equivalent was also assuming Lite and retail were similarly seeded, which I don't think they are (in the bad direction). Never reevaluated print runs because it was already at an order of magnitude that any changes didn't matter. Never say never, but this product is about the last one I'd expect to see a significant bump. The only thing it has going for it are some awesome singles, but those are insanely hard to hit. If holding just for a low-risk fun future rip, it definitely fits that bill.

Ah ok. Yeah not expecting to make any money off this, just seems to be a quietly enjoyed product (maybe not entirely unlike A&G in a way) that folks seem to poo poo. Hope prices continue to drop so I can snag a hobby for ~$100

It’s a nice solid quality product with on card autos, no redemptions that I’ve seen so far, and attractive parallels with a player selection that spans the generations - and it’s an unopened product that almost everyone can afford.

Card companies really should continue to make products like this.

With unnumbered autos in a set are the odds even across the board or can there be 5 Trout autos and 100 Melvin Mora? Never thought to ask this but i figure someone would know (whether for this set or historically speaking)

I bought a blaster to check it out-fun rip and would buy more but the centering was so bad n majority of the box I can't justify more money towards it.

Topps 100% puts many more unnumbered autos of the lesser subjects in. It's never known, but the 5 Trout : 100 Mora is probably pretty close. That's not unique to this product though, they do it in everything.
