just seen hobby boxes listed elsewhere for a very "stupid " price

I have 3 Walmart’s in my county. The woman was stocking at my local one when I walked in. She told me another Walmart she stocks(in a different county did not get any). This leads to the theory as others have reported not all may be getting it. I was able to to wipe out all 2 and half of another.

I've yet to see Draft football anywhere and no stickers for that either....like I said the Walmarts have not been touched in at least 4 weeks....I can tell because they look like they've been blown up at one and the other is just completely gone at this point with a naked shelf sitting there.

Target has been stocked but not with either football or basketball..... it's all baseball and the standard wrestling, hockey and Nascar

I opened a bit of this today and I begrudgingly say I like it. I like it more than Prizm, but less than Optic.** I prefer Mosaic over Prizm on account of the inserts, but otherwise the base is equally bland between the two products to me. The parallels seem nice enough from my small sample size.


** I’m not suggesting Mosaic is equal in terms of the market, I’m speaking from the perspective of my aesthetic taste.

More fun opening than what I thought. I’ve opened 1 mega, 2 blasters, 3 hangers, 3 cellos. Surprisingly no Ja’s si far. Best hits so far trae young got game numbered 7/10. 4 Zions 2 base debut, 1 pink debut not numbered. 1 base blue reactive. Really nice looking cards. FYI the mega box was loaded. I got 2 of my Zions there and the Trae out of 10

I honestly love all these dudes coming in here throwing out "They made a ton of this stuff" but have no actual proof of this... Just remember Prizm was supposed to be "mass produced" because of Zion. The Presses were going to be running all year long. We were going to have prizm "On the shelves" all summer long... honestly GTFO unless you have something beneficial with some sort of evidence. I won't lie it sucks that people are literally digging through MJ Holding boxes before they even get there... I wish there was a fair way for everyone to get some but we created this monster ourselves. No matter what we say this stuff is going to hold value and prices are going to rise... because this is one of the last "Highly anticipated" retail releases. And even then there will be Chronicles coming out and that will sell out asap as well. Remember when we were all upset because people were selling Prizm blasters for $40 lol I bet we all wished we had bought every one of those over priced retail boxes.

My goodness Panini really has to do something other than the "Let's take a bland design, print it in 294 different colors, designs, swirls, sparkles, circles, triangles, and dodecahedrons and call it a day."

I guess they also have the pure white background with some sort of strip of team color and/or foil for their high end stuff (NT, Immaculate, Flawless)

Exactly. My brother had eyes on a manifest sheet. Limited supply. All stores will not get an allocation AND there was none in the box he saw this at.

Plus I really feel that this will have staying power because there is more a chance to hit Zion or Ja with twice the number of them in the set.

I claim no inside knowledge, but I found roughly as much at my rural Mississippi Walmart as I did for Optic (equivalent to two small trays and some megas). There were at least two large trays initially (and an equivalent restock) for Prizm. Based on this, I'd anticipate it being more like Optic than Prizm in terms of abundance.

Haha you nailed it this product is the same every year and especially bad this year imo the only remotely decent looking ones are the silver ones with none of the small swirly circles? Honestly I dont even know what they are called since it's the most confusing product in basketball.
