I hope not, I wanted Fizdale because I think it woulda helped the chances of LeBron staying.

Could be similar to last time LeBron left, Gilbert will fire the lue (like he did brown) to try and show Lebron he is serious about winning. I personally wish Gilbert would just throw a blank check at Tom Izzo or John Calipari. I really believe this roster is a coach away from being really good. Well a coach and an actual off season to gel. Nance, Hood, Clarkson with entire off season to be integrated could do wonders for them as well as an actual offensive and defensive system.

There is 0% chance Lue sticks around. He was Lebrons boy and if Lebron leaves they are probably in a rebuild mode.

Probably a good thing if hes fired, you need a development coach

Idk, Ty lue is the perfect coach to tank with because he's clueless about rotations.

Looks like PG totally ignored the nice video examples of LeBron getting cooked on defense. Typical PG... ignore ignore ignore, deflect deflect deflect

Wonder how many less pages there'd be in this thread if people just didn't argue with the troll. Don't be sucked it, in fact, he's one of the only two people on my blocked list. Makes it a lot nicer a read...

I'd dump Hood the first chance I get. Nance and Clarkson can definitely work but I just think Lebron is going to do everything possible this offseason to make sure he has a team that can compete with the Warriors. He can do that in Cleveland, but they need some major changes if they have any chance to win another championship.

How funny would it be if the Cavs hired Casey

Thats actually a valid point.

But do you want Michael Porter Jr or whomever you draft being run into the ground by stupidity?

With Gilbert maybe you do, who knows

Absolutely not (I really hope they get Porter btw). Lue has to go, he has no place bringing up a rebuilding team.

There are good coaches looking for jobs I would be very upset if they didn't fire him after this season.

At least he would bench JR smith and Jeff Green. That's already a plus.

Porter Jr would be a gift, I'm sure Lue will be gone and he deserves to be fired. I understand coaching LeBron is pry really hard, but the defense has gotten worse every year since he took over.

I understand Cleveland had to make some desperate moves because Kyrie left them high and dry... but gosh this looks miserable. That's a whole lot of money going to not very much. I guess paired with the Brooklyn first they can move some of these, but without that incentive can't see teams being very interested in these guys at these prices.

Only player of value on the Cavs outside of Osman and Zizic is Kevin Love and Kyle Korver. Only team's taking either though is a team that thinks they are 1 player away. I bet Korver would fetch a late first, Love wouldn't bring any better of a player for a team looking to win now, but I bet to the right team could get a good pick.

Yea, I mean, if a player like AD told New Orleans he will opt out next season, I can see them being persuaded by the brooklyn first, future first, love and thompson. Pipe dream, but if AD can be persuaded he'd force new orleans hand. It just doesn't seem like Kawhi or Paul George want to go to Cleveland. More likely team up in LA or somewhere.

Just not a ton of options to accumulate enough talent to beat the Warriors next season.

That is why Lebron is leaving. That roster is stuck for the next two years. Maybe in year two, you can swing some expiring contracts for assets. Lebron is going to a team with cap space where he can build it up again. Lue is out since he is tied to Lebron's back pocket. Be thankful, they didn't double down on a bad return and extend IT right away.

George can't come to Cleveland, no cap space and because they are a tax repeater they can't execute sign and trades. Every trade the cavs could offer up for AD would be worse than other teams offers. Specifically the celtics.

If Lebron decides to stay, they draft Bridges, strech JR and hire Casey? I think those would be pretty good moves tbh.

Only way I see Lebron coming back is on another 1+1 deal, the pieces the cavs have now have only played 20-30 games and barely were healthy during those games. Potential is there for this team depending on the draft shakes out and who they can get to coach.

If George wanted to come to cleveland they could make room. The biggest problem with that is whether or not George wants to come to cleveland. I wouldn't at this point unless I knew they had the ability to add other pieces.

That offer gets trumped by like 4 other teams.

No one wants Thompson

Where else would LeBron possibly go? No other team will give him nearly the level of control that he's been accustomed to getting here in Cleveland. The Lakers?

I don't know. I've been told Kevin Love is a future hall of famer and he's only 29. So a future hall of famer, a lottery pick, future first, and thompson or whoever else you want on that roster other than lebron, haha.
