Montas and Holmes gave that one away, I don’t even want Montas on the playoff roster he has been worthless since the Yankees traded for him.

Marinaccio has been pretty good or maybe even try Clarke Schmidt. Holmes just isn't the guy anymore and I have no faith in Chapman either.

Funny how closer went from a strength to a weakness. I know it was a hard play in the 8th but IKF could’ve made it and it still would’ve been tied. The called strike 3 on Andujar with Cabrera on 3rd hadn’t been called a strike all night. But championship teams don’t blow 5-0 leads.

Montas is just the latest iteration of Jack McDowell, Hideki Irabu, Kei Igawa, Carl Pavano, Kevin Brown, Jose Contreras, Jaret Wright, Sonny Gray, Jeff Weaver, Javier Vasquez, Andrew Heaney, and Randy Johnson.

A pitching acquisition that couldn't hack it in NY.

The Unit averaged 17 Ws, 200 IPs, and 1k/IP for two years at 40+ years old for the Yanks. Maybe not his best stats, but he doesn’t belong with the others on that list.

Thought I would try to watch today, turned it on to see the strikeout throw out double play , that’s all I needed to see back to football today. Screw this team not worth watching.

The 3 players on the Yankees who are doing their best to sabotage Judge’s mvp hopes are Aaron Hicks, Giancarlo Stanton and Gerritt Cole as all 3 are doing their best to avoid winning games.

Yanks #1 right now is Nestor. Starting Cole first in the play off now is stupid. But it will probably further damage him fragile psyche if they don't start him first

Hicks is destroying any chance Judge has of coming up with anybody on base, Boone is being a jackass putting Hicks anywhere near Judge in the lineup, I am glad they went ahead 7-4 but I am sick of seeing Hicks anywhere in this lineup.
