I hope we keep getting negative news on Zion.

We've seen this before with guys like Embiid, Griffin, Curry, Simmonsand to a lesser degree Kawhi and AD in their early days.

Zion's talent won't go away so quick.

I have a big Zion Rookie on my wantlist.

What happened to “measure twice, cut once”?
Isn’t a broken foot bone a typically common / successful operation to repair after a single surgery l?

No.

Recurrences/setbacks are not rare, and second surgeries are not completely out of the question. The small toe is a very tricky area due to lack of bloodflow.

We're not even at the second surgical point yet. Let's at least see how this rehab progresses first? He's got to be one of the first with a biologic injection, as it seems to be a relatively new procedure.

Somethin' like a cross between Teddy Aguhob and Kaboom Mystery Packs. I got that Givenchy denim flow.

Orthobiologics have been around since the 90s.

I'm sure it has, just had difficulty finding specific references to it when it came to NBA players. I now see that Simmons had it done in 2016. Which gives me 0.0001% more optimism.

You’re going to have a hard time finding it in any athlete because the vast majority of fractures are going to heal normally with/without surgery.

Read into yesterday’s news however you want. But I’m telling you that the only positive to take away is that things didn’t get worse. The amount of progress the last three months is very discouraging.

Pretty much. It is what it is. Wish he would have opted for surgery, but nobody knows what the hell is going on with him/the organization/team. A tell-all book should be interesting once he leaves NO...

Bingo - the Team is HORRIBLE with providing Updates, PR, sharing Information— they’re ( The Pelicans ) as bad as it gets

Why would NO tell the truth and run down his value? The truth is he’s not much for getting in shape.

Yeah. Those pre/post injury candids of him lookin' yoked in a tee had to have been cgi. You must know some stuff. PM me those exclusive voyeur snaps of him losing the double hoodies and flaunting the John Goodman tiddies. I'm dying to see them.

Pels rollin and now a game out of 9th. Nice to see them actually playing with passion.

Per William Guillory of The Athletic "Pelicans Zion Williamson is returning to New Orleans after spending time in Portland for his foot rehab, sources tell me and Shams Charania. Williamson is cleared to progress in basketball activities. "

Good news. Excited to watch him play again. Say what you will about him, but he gets me to tune in and watch full NBA games, something I rarely have done otherwise for a long time.

Nope

“ Zion Williamson flew back to Louisiana yesterday. He will not join the team on its upcoming road trip, a source said. He is working toward becoming fully weight-bearing on his right foot and is out indefinitely, as the team said earlier this week.”

Not all pediatrists wear bapes.

I've developed priapism since Z touched down in NO. IDGAF what anyone says that sliver of hope he pulls a Kirk Gibson on the final shot of the play-in is everything.

I don't know if it is good, or bad that Zion went to church instead of attending Coack K's last home game.
