I think the problem is Trump won’t let it go...and a significant number of gop representatives and constituents. Had Trump backed off, the others would have assuredly given up the cause by now (sane ones anyway). Because he is the president and is refusing to acknowledge he lost (which would ensure a much more peaceful transition as we have more or less had going back 200+ years). If you don’t see a problem with him denying the legitimacy of our democratic process and the damage it is doing to the legitimacy of the next and future administrations in divided races I don’t know what to tell you.
