Stephen King himself has seen the new version and says we have nothing to worry about.

That looks terrible to me and I've watched some terrible movies. Unless the previews are making the movie look worse than it really is.

Can't wait for Raw to expand and hopefully come to FL or on demand. I've been hearing about Raw for a while now. Critically acclaimed horror are few and far between

Zzzzzz nothing we havnt seen unless they take that scene where she is inbetween the girls legs with scissors to the max.. even then movies like The antichrist already took that up a notch.

Stephen King seems to be okay with almost any adaptation of his stories (he cares, rightly so, about the box office earnings). This as opposed to Tom Clancy who would pretty much be in a rage over EVERY Jack Ryan movie...

Get Out(dumb name, right?) was written and directed by Jordan Peele(of Key and Peele), he's also married to Chelsea Peretti of all people. Not my cup of tea movie wise but he's gonna make a TON of money from this one...

Yeah he's definitely gonna get paid for this one and probably be a bit in demand afterwards too. This is already the #2 highest grossing film that Blumhouse has produced (surprisingly #1 is Split, I just assumed it was Paranormal Activity). It's only 3 million off of Split so odds are it will become #1 in a week or two.

Not sure if this qualifies as horror but I saw the Belko Experiment and really dug it. Quick 80 minute movie that cut the BS and got right to it.

Yeah, I love horror movies, but I intentionally can't come into this thread when there's anything I want to see because of the out of control spoilers.

Can we all agree no more spoilers???? Please? Cause this would be a great thread for upcoming horror flicks and simple "I just saw ____, and you guys should check it out."

I really liked it when I saw it. I believe several of us have mentioned it already and liked the movie. There are a bunch of foreign movies I'd love to watch but normally they aren't in English and I hate reading subtitles.

I was bored last night and decided to give "Lights Out" a go. Much better than I expected, and miles better than The Conjuring, Insidious, etc.

I'm about to watch "The Devils Candy" after waiting what seems like forever. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

been mentioned here a few times, as well as the zombie movie thread that pops up on occasion. good flick, and proof that the spastic sprinter zombies CAN work when done properly (aka NOT what WWZ did).

F.Y.I

Especially Amazon Prime Members

I've heard really good things about the movie "Train to Busan". I've yet to see it, but I just purchased a digital copy (in HD) from Amazon. They currently have it at 99 cents!!!

Just got back from Life, or better known as, Alien. Did not like it outside of a few moments. 1.5/5 stars.

Watched a movie on Hulu last night called Fear Inc that was pretty decent and an interesting concept. It's a lower budget movie so don't expect to be blown away but basically there's a company called Fear Inc and you can call them to set up a personalized horror experience. Things get crazy pretty quick and almost the entire movie they have you guessing weather this is just some kind of a show or if it's real. Worth a watch.
