I understand the logo airbrushing and such.

But are the backgrounds also illegal to show without a license? No Fans, Arena fixtures, etc? Or it might capture some of that? It just looks ugly.

If you remove the background, you only have to airbrush the featured player on the card.

Most of these cards look like the guys are in rec league pinnies. Just absolutely disgusting design, and not in a good way.

I know my lcs that does msrp on blasters has these for 90!

That basketball refractor card from hangers are cool, but they are ssp in buc and maa chrome to /25

This has just been an entertaining thread, I've enjoyed watching it evolve - we needed one of these in the basketball forum for quite some time, all the panini threads were absolute dead zones. Good to see some sparks.

Looking at Composite Football and even the Inserts in this very set, boy does it drive home how much cheaper and uglier the geometric backgrounds make these cards look. Know it's not a new take, but watching football breaks I'm not nearly as repulsed by each card lol.

I grabbed one to flip. Can't pass up a case at their pricing. The rep said each rep only got 1 to sell. Who knows how true that is but I felt special.

Yeah I don't think football looks bad at all, it's not the licensing for me even though that hurts, the cards just look bad lol
