Hopefully the Cryptozoic rep is still checking this thread. I got a damaged binder and email customer service multiple times with no response.

Another blue ink of the SP version of Farkus on the bay. 7 weeks of everyone opening and not one blue inscription....now 7 pulled in the last week and a half. At least everything is pack-inserted though, which makes ripping boxes and cases much more tempting. I don't know about the current box and case prices though compared to what the singles are selling for.

Have singles (autograph) prices dropped?

On certain ones I would say yes, or at the very least leveled off. But obviously that's because more and more are being listed coupled with the fact we're getting further away from Christmas. So it's to be expected. A Ralphie #'d to 299 sold for under $200 when it was just pushing $300, and a few Randy & Ralphie duals are sitting there around $400 when they would've been gobbled up at that price a few weeks ago. The SPs I don't think have dropped at all, just leveled off. I think a lot of sellers are testing the boundaries of what buyers are willing to pay for the inscriptions and the SP's. Just this morning I made what I thought was a fair offer on an expensive auto, and was promptly declined. I've already paid high, probably too high, on a certain few cards but for me to keep doing that, I need to see others willing to pay those prices also. Or else I'm competing against no one.

But as for box prices, which at one point were around $200, the autographs (and a lot of the sketches for that matter) need to sell for more in my opinion to justify that price. I think you're much better off waiting for singles than paying those prices for sealed product.

Just my two cents.

Has anyone here sent any cards in for grading?

I sent a bunch of Prismatic & Ice Foil parallels of the key scenes into PSA in early January. Graded just popped; 25% gemmed while the rest were 9s. Have another small order with 15 or so cards that are about to begin grading. I sent a great sketch card in but only got an 8 unfortunately.

To me these cards seem quite condition sensitive, with various degrees of corner dings, a bit of chipping here n there, and some of my autos I have pulled have had a scratch or two on surfaces whether front or back.

At least you got some Gems out of it, too bad the grade wasn’t higher on your nice sketch.

Still a great and fun set to open no matter. Hoping to see some new inscriptions pop up, curious how many cases are still left out there.

I sent in my Ralphie PB1, Scut/Grover Dual, Flick/Schwartz Dual, and my Scut auto in to PSA a week or so after release. Still waiting for them back.

You’re right there’s quite a bit of surface scratches that exist on the autograph cards. Have no idea where/how it gets there. I forgot to report my PB1 Bunny Suit Ralphie got a PSA 8 a month ago. There was nothing wrong with that one; no surface scratches and sharp corners. I stopped sending autographs in after that one. I may send my other good autos in but definitely nothing right now. I feel stuff has cooled off substantially and listing to sell would be premature. I anticipate this stuff selling extremely well post Halloween this year. Can you imagine what this stuff goes for in 5-10 years??? Anyone that can hold out that long will make some good money.

I have no idea either on the autos how they tend to have scratches, the sketches I can understand corner issues a bit from all the handling by the artist so I get that.

Most of my autos corners are nice, but sent in my Randy /5 and it got an 8 but a 10 auto so that part was nice. I wanted to grade it no matter since it was low numbered and for my pc.

Also sent in a Miss Shields /499 it really looked like a 10 but got a 9 card 10 auto, but still happy with it. Hope to get a 10 eventually.

I agree with maybe not selling a lot right now these will go up again closer to Christmas, and yeah I can only imagine in 5-10 years like you said…could be crazy prices!!

The base cards are super condition sensitive. As you mentioned there’s noticeable chipping and scratches on the front & back. The packaging for this release was sent out vertically as opposed to the traditional horizontal method. I believe this is what caused the bad corners straight out of the pack (unless the pack out process was to blame). Bouncing around during shipment definitely impacts the condition. I guess it’s good & bad, depends on how you look at things. I feel this will create a premium in the market for PSA 10 gems as anyone that’s opened this product knows 8-8.5 are probably the average condition score. It’s actually difficult to build a clean mint base set given these issues. Also has anyone noticed several key sketch cards have been pulled off eBay recently? I wonder if they sold offline or if sellers are holding.

Strange I sent my orders in early January. Those have all finished and one was even with the cheap $16.99/card option. I hope you get your order soon. Interested to see how consistent they are with grading this set.

Will definitely post results when I get them back. Still staring at the 3 loose boxes I got from Southern hobby pretending I don't want to open them.

I did notice some Glebe sketches that were up completely disappeared, maybe the seller decided to hold or have them graded hard to say.

Yeah 10’s will be a challenge in this set for sure, we will have to wait and see how many actually pop up…depends how many collectors want to collect graded versions in this set as well, but with sports condition sensitive sets with fewer 10’s do hold a premium typically.

Wow very nice! Congrats

I will probably send in both my Ralphie autos soon and maybe his dual as well.

I tend to grade my autos as well, but have noticed a few signers may never get a 10 on the auto.

99% of the RD Robb's won't for sure. And a lot of the Zack Ward's also. My two cents on that, I wouldn't grade the autos unless you are certain they're a 10. A Gem Mint 10 card with a 9 auto is looked at as less than a 10 overall because of that auto grade. Stick with just getting the card graded on these.

And awesome cards there armyml. You did great with those.

Yep, I agree Zack Ward and RD Robb, some of Ian’s,Yano’s, and Scott Schwartz’s too I have noticed are streaky a bit here n there will be extremely tough to get a 10 auto on most of those.

I am with you, if the card gets a 10 you want a 10 auto as well otherwise changes the value a bit and bette roff just grading the card.

Yea thats pretty much the way I look at it. Actually most times I don't grade autos anymore it never seems worth it. Always seems to lead to an even longer lead time.
