Someone should tell that to my offspring who are not middle aged women.

She's had different music over the years that appeals to different age groups.

-Early on was very radio friendly Country/Pop.
-Then mid career was much heavier pop influence, with some ballads mixed in
-Her new stuff is very focused on relating to adult/middle age women's issues with a more subtle/indy tone then previous.

As she ages, so does her new music. Hence: "The Eras"

Oh ok. Well that just sounds awful. But she’s making bank and super popular. So good for her. I can only dream

Can you outrun a T-Rex in those?

Asking for a fictional character.

You know, it is possible to dislike something without "getting triggered".

The NFL "We are back!" promo video showed Taylor Swift 5 times - and CJ Stroud (among many, many other players) zero times. Call me crazy but that's pretty idiotic.

That's true, but please consider that C.J. Stroud has yet to place even one #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Never said that it wasn't, so I don't know why you'd automatically assume that I didn't know this.

It's today's version of watching 75 year old Greatest Generation blue-hairs get bothered by the on stage antics of Andrew Dice Clay back in the 80s:
Actually the people you are saying Ms Swift is catering to now is the same demographic who hated Clay

Leaning in to something that expanded their audience and made them all hundreds of millions of additional dollars that they otherwise would not have made. Yeah, so idiotic. Literally impossible to understand.

It’s amazing this thread won’t die.

A weird combo of Swifties and Normies.

I never said you did say it wasn't possible.

As has been discussed in this thread, the notion that she is making "them all hundreds of millions of additional dollars" is just not even remotely grounded in reality. (I am amazed that there are people who still believe it).

Precisely how has Swift made the NFL hundreds of millions of dollars that they wouldn't have already had? Even if TV ratings have improved due to Swift - a claim which is dubious at best - it isn't like the networks are saying "oh here's some extra money, NFL!! We didn't feel like we were paying you enough on our current deals so please take some more!!"

100 million swifties could tune into KC-Cincy and the NFL wouldn't make a dime (above and beyond what CBS was already paying for the TV rights). CBS would sure be happy but CBS =/= NFL.

I don't know what it means in terms of revenue, but it's highly likely a good number of KC jerseys are being sold to people who wouldn't have bought them before. Kelce had never been Top 10 before this celebrity coupling, but he's number 2 this year after only Mahomes.

They really do count as two people, maybe even three at this point.
