Halfway through my first hobby box....not bad?

Here it is in total; given the amount of people dissatisfied with their boxes, not bad?

Curious what you guys think.

Has anyone worked on calculating the amount of hobby boxes?

There were 1,300 FOTL boxes, right?

I’ll admit I haven’t watched breaks online but looking at what’s been broken here, has anyone seen a box with less than 2 reds /299?

Using 2 per box and taking away the 2,600 that would be in FOTL boxes, that puts it at 28,600.

I think the reds could be more than 2 per box too so using that seemed conservative.

I was playing around the other day and estimated about 2,600 cases or so.

I can tell you 2 cases i was apart of for group breaks one case had 28 reds /299 and the other case had 27 reds /299.

Damn good box, IMO.

That blue Hitman auto sold for $950. Bron & Gable, Bianca & Triple H blues...I'd be very happy with this box.

Depends what you were trying to accomplish. I think the cards are beautiful and you got a cool variety of new and old school guys. If your goal was making money on investment I think you are depending solely on the Hitman autograph (depending on price you paid). That Marcel Barthel auto is a rough hit from a money point of view. The Bret Hart is obviously your money maker (the Gable, and HHH are nice cards as well). Don't sleep on that Ivy Nile. I have a feeling she is going to be a big deal somewhere down the line.

I honestly am. I'm contemplating selling the rest as I have two more hobby boxes in my possession, and I'm trying to afford opening another. I called locally and 20 min away in opposite directions I got three.

I'm going to try and keep the Hitman, unless I find another auto that someone would trade for.

I see the hobby boxes are going for $1200-1300....I have two more in my possession and have to sell one to afford the other two. Maybe I should package a hobby box with the cards I put up for sale as a mega package...or just be patient and hope the hobbies hit $1500 soon after market.

I unintentionally bought a hobby today at 1065 all in…had a bid on stockx i forgot about lol.

Seems like a price where I can’t get hurt at least. Also have a bunch of the retail “hangers” coming in, so where I was rooting for prices to drop Im now with the to the moon! crowd.

Good for you with the hangers, I'm watching like a hawk and even after getting alerted I don't get there in time.

I got my hobbies at $800 and 2 for $850, so trying to see how high they'll go before I cave and sell.

There seems to be a lot of breaks going on still with strong interest to buy in. From the breaks I’ve watched they seem to be all over the place, but I haven’t seen many that were completely horrible. But there have also been a few that were outstanding. So basically your standard product these days

It's incredibly had resisting opening another one, but I want to see if the price goes up above $1400. I would consider selling at that point.

They're selling for $1200-$1300 and will only go up once they run out of hobbies.

It's under. Online is $1300 and ebay is a little lower. I got mine locally.
