I have quit offering PWE shipping, due to the USPS inconsistencies. I used to offer this option for $0.75 for budget, 1-4 cards.

Now, I only do 'premium' shipping, which I charge $4 for up to 10 cards, which is reasonable, given the current USPS costs.

Also, I offer FREE shipping for ALL box orders, no matter the quantity of cards purchased. I also offer FREE shipping for orders over 300 cards.

With that being said, what I charge for shipping isn't the problem, as several sellers had little to no orders for the 1st part of this past week.

This is a new situation for me, and I wondering if anyone had this happen to them. I have a pending "fill to buyer" order (not a box order) totaling $34.70 for 6 cards. My threshold for budget shipping is set to $5.00 but the buyer was still able to select budget shipping where premium shipping should have been his only option. Not only is his whole order over $5.00, but 5 of the 6 cards he ordered are over $5.00. I was under the impression that when a buyer's order went over a seller's threshold that selecting budget shipping was no longer an option.

This is the last day of March and this order will put me into a lower fee scale so I am going to accept the order and pay for the premium shipping on my own dime, but I still messaged sportlots to look into how something like this could have happened so it does not happen again.

It's a glitch in Sportlots system, that has happened to me roughly 10 times over the past year. Max will pay you the difference between your premium & budget shipping.

Even with that small lull in week 3 of March it finished strong and was still a great month. It was only $17 short of my best month for dollar amount sales, but at the same time it was 4 orders better than my best month. The first 3 months of 2021 have been great and oddly consistent.

Hope everyone had a great March and maybe with MLB starting tomorrow April will be even better.

Quick question for people that ship a lot of cards from their box at one time. I've noticed that after you get past about c500-700 cards in yourr box estimated shipping stays fairly constant at around $62 (when I last sent approximately 1,400 cards they rebated me around 20% of that after shipment).

Does anyone know roughly when the next step-change in shipping costs comes? Is it when you may start threatening the UPS 50 pound shipping threshold, or do costs jump before that?

Any insights or even guesstimates welcome.

Had another instance last night where the total was well over my threshold and the buyer was able to select budget shipping. In the 13 months I've been selling it never happened to me, and now twice in 10 days.

Both orders were 6 card orders, and not a lot of sellers have a budget option past 4 cards, so maybe that's where the glitch lies?

That is weird -

The first I had ever heard of this hiccup was when you mentioned it a few days ago. Personally never seen it in...man, I don't know how many transactions...
Hopefully they get it all sorted out both for you in the short term and in the system going forward.

Had an issue with "missing" cards two days in a row. Is it possible that the update added previously sold cards? One of the cards I am assuming was a non paying pending order that happened after I completely relisted one set.

Sharing an easy block for me...Gave a neutral for not uploading tracking for box shipping after opening not received case where I gave him tracking..."NNGERENO". Wasnt happy that he didnt receive tracking where its not required yet placed a second order before he filed not received case, I cant wait to read the feedback for the second shipment. It didnt help that Sportlots held the shipment for 6 days before posting received.

A while back I had a similar thing with a different buyer and sportlots told me from now on I should upload the same tracking number to each buyer in a box order. Ever since then I have and no more problems. It also eliminates me from the rest of the transaction in any way.

As for NNGERENO, I have had 2 good transactions with him myself, but everyone's mileage will vary.

I did block a buyer recently that left me a neutral because a budget package didn't show up. It wasn't a rare card and he was obviously made whole, but I kinda get it from his end. I know the block may be petty on my part, but it just irked me knowing I sent it.
