For sure.

Factory cost was around $195.

These could drop down to $250 or less pretty quickly if no one buys it for $300+, which includes breakers.

Still haven't heard of anyone winning yet and we are passed the 48 hours they claimed to notify people within. Typical Topps fashion, cant follow through with anything.

How do you figure out factory cost? Is that the license paid to get the autographs making it $195?

Factory cost is probably what direct accounts pay topps. I know Topps has jacked up the price of factory cost the last couple of years.

If Wander and/or Julio are underwhelming next year these boxes could get really low, like maybe approaching a fun cheap rip low. There may be a small sweet spot this time next year in that scenario especially if our economy is in the crapper. Enough time before the redemptions become an issue too. The print run is massive and break through % seems extraordinarily weak based on individual player parallel offerings, and for good reason. I’d expect it to be a Black Friday special this year(for still too much) and maybe possibly a 2023 BG special as well. Who knows. The new inclusion of the “vet autos” makes it even worse like broccoli flavored icing on this massive turd cake of a product.

So I am trying to figure out a straight answer. If I buy the new restock of Topps Chrome blasters, would they have a chance at the SPs or is there something else I would have to do to try my chance at getting one?

I like to rip the occasional blaster, but if I don’t even have a small chance to get one, that may slightly change my mind.

You can get a base super short print variation of the veterans in the set, but you will not pull cards 221-225 of the rookies extended sp.

Stay away from blasters until they go on 50% discount.

Were now 3 days past the notification deadline for the October drawing and still no word from anyone about receiving notice of winning.

How is it that Topps just gets away with this. They announced the drawing and guidelines for it as a way to fix a rather LARGE mess-up and they cant even do this right. Why is nobody is talking about this?

How long term?

Think it largely depends if they produce them again next year, and given the success, I'd say it is likely. The PR/reduced checklist is a positive but they've shown a propensity to ramp up the printers on hot products.

I've wondered if let's say a "1st year" Logofractor becomes a thing.

At the very least the RCs should be valuable. Have plenty of Reid Detmers stashed away.
