It was a poorly written question....I was wanting to know more about timing. If they are shipping #400 - I was curious as to how far behind AP's the might be, or, if they were shipped when the base cards ship?

When I purchased my "Beck" Mays AP, I believe it was at my house in three weeks.

It looks like Topps has all the prints listed online in hand, and they’ve already put them on sale once for Black Friday @ 40% off (that’s when I got my Siff Brett and Thiele Jeter, got lucky and received the Jeter Artist Proof /20). So I’d bet they’ll be on sale again at some point in the future.

Remember all of those returns for the early cards when the market collapsed.

Yeah, my returns weren't crazy at all...I found that most actually honored their purchases, only about 5-7% cancelled on my end.

What made you increase your personal valuation of the FAPs? And are you planning to reframe them? Or do you like the frames more than you thought you would at first?

Topps should have just released all 400 as buy/print on demand. If they wanted to still do inserts, they could have done them at X% of the ordered print run. Though I still don’t get the silver and gold frames. They aren’t true 1/1 or #/20 since they are all printed in the same manner on the same material from the same run. Such an odd concept. If they just keep sitting I expect a sale and then to list whatever else they had already done and just end it. Better off moving to their next money maker.

Yeah timing was problematic for that idea. It just seemed like something someone pitched during the height of the bubble, and they went with it without really thinking it through. Makes for a good chapter in the book though.

Got the last two Jeters in the mail! Now I have a full 20-card set. Need to get a photo but I’m excited about it. Plus I bought the Yankee Stadium card as well

My last Jeter 5-card purchase is in transit.

Once I receive them, I will have five complete Jeter base sets.

And once I receive the last Griffey and Trout cards, I will own a complete base-set of each.

I also purchased a Yankees team card and was lucky enough to get a Foil of that card; plus my Foil Jeter "Shore" card.....

And, of course, my "Fucci" Jeter signed card that still blows my mind that I received one of the ten.

This has been one helluva ride.

I don't subscribe to Beckett, but will be picking up the Feb. 2021 issue.

Yeah, I think more people would have, especially those trying to pick just one. It stinks that it happened this way with the releases. Hoping they release more and one of them is what you were waiting for.
