Lol the ratio of folks finding enough supply they're sick of seeing it, compared to guys that can't find it is so massive its laughable..
On a long enough timeline these will def get to those prices Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

well i’m glad to be on the good side of that ratio.
![]() To be honest though this has been so much easier to find than mosaic, and the fact target carries it as well in huge quantities means it dwarfs what we saw in R2 of mosaic. R1 was produced before they knew how the pandemic was going to drive a spike in demand. Sure mosaic wasn’t hard to find, but Prizm football and hoops basketball were printed on a whole nother level. I would counter that I live in a metro area of over a million people, and what I see each week in the stores lines up with what people all over the country are saying is showing up in their market via social media. I honestly would say that to think this wasn’t printed extremely heavy is just naive, no offense intended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Does anyone in New York City have any luck finding retail?

If you’re sick of seeing this product in stores, apparently you don’t like like free money. Maybe I’m just bitter because I haven’t found any basketball product in stores in a full year now (Optic restock in February 2020 I checked like 10 Walmarts and only one of them had a very small stock). If you don’t have any place to store it, just flip it for 2.5x what you paid and laugh all the way to the bank. And all these debates about what product got printed more than another are completely useless because you will never know which ones were printed more than the other. It’s all 100% speculation. Let’s just wait and see how the market shakes out. To me, this seems like a great long term hold because it definitely has a first year Topps Chrome vibe to me. Not saying it will ever become that iconic, but if this draft class continues to perform well, I don’t see any reason why the sealed wax wouldn’t continue to increase, regardless of how many people are hoarding it.

Went to a WM in Covina this week that was always gutted and even the supplies were all wiped out. Nothing but a wall of empty trays. Finding any Hoops there would be like spotting a unicorn. |

I actually live in the sneakerhead capital of the world. ![]() point being my city is big enough that when i compare to what people are saying all over social media and it checks out, i feel confident that what i’m seeing is representative. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I live about 15 south of Philly....so obviously a densely populated area.... haven't found anything in stores since last April. I can if I decide to look "professionally"....but let's be serious....no need to do that.
If you can easily find this (or anything else of value) on shelves easily you either are lying that you live in a heavily populated area OR for some reason you don't have flippers in your area. Which at this point, in all the madness of the last year or so, again seems unbelievable. |

I definitely am not “lying” about anything related to finding cards on a baseball card forum lol. is it possible i’m better than you at finding retail? You only gave two options and I don’t believe either to be true. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have found both in equal amounts, but 3-4 weeks ago i was finding a ton of prizm and smallish stocks of hoops, now prizm has for the most part dried up around here and hoops is flowing like water. that’s a nice prizm score this late in the game! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

or we just need a mole at panini to give us production numbers. ![]() Hoops was the first major 2019 retail product produced after the impact of the pandemic became apparent, I can’t think of a reason why they WOULDN’T have printed this to the moon after seeing the insta sellout of mosaic every week. But no, i never run into half stocks, like someone took some but left the rest. I either hit a fresh stock or the remnants of one. First guy there is clearing the shelf if he can. So there you go... first you said I was lying, but now you concede maybe I try harder. There’s nothing wrong with not wanting to spend a couple hours each day hunting retail. I actually enjoy it and am pretty efficient knowing how to do it. It’s the thrill of the chase, I love catching a fresh restock. I happen to have a job that pays well, but allows me time to hunt retail when i want as well. To each his own, but no, if you go out for 30 minutes twice a week, you won’t have much luck finding anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have no clue what any Wal-Marts do. I’ve found 6 NFL Mosaic Hangers and 1 misplaced Prizm Cello since July. I think Wal Marts around here are pretty much back doored. |

Well, over here megas are already $200+ and blasters $100+.
I’m buying $60 ebay blasters all day long and so are hundreds of others. Just a few clicks on my phone, don’t have to wait at Walmart and fight with flippers, and profit is the same. Ebay/FB/IG are just a small portion of the market so as long as people from other parts of the world are paying up, prices will go up. ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have seen and heard of guys lining up at 5am waiting for Target to open where I live and every Walmart around me has completely stopped selling cards. That's craziness as far as I'm concerned. |

I hear ya. That’s why I said it’s not for everybody. In my situation it works. You can’t really expect to find retail today though if you are randomly popping into target twice a week. that’s needle in a haystack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by BRob1; 01-22-2021 at 10:26 PM. |
