I also just think in general the spending itch comes in November/December with holidays and such. Mix that with the end of the football season and hype and you get high prices.

Even small businesses I am very familiar with, it's like a spooky ghost town in January and February. People don't have tax returns yet and they have CC bills to pay. But then it picks back up soon after. Now mix that with people focusing on BB and basbeall coming.

I can only speak for myself but the amount of parallels in Prizm is just ridiculous. I think there are close to 20 color parallels. For Mahomes, I would only ever consider buying the base, white sparkle, red or gold vinyl (maybe red/white/blue). To me the base/silver, white sparkle and gold vinyl will always be popular and the red is his team color. That could just be my baseball background though.

I should say I feel the same way about Optic. For Optic I would only consider red (team color), holo, white sparkle and gold vinyl.

Personally I would do the original Prizm colors plus

Base/silver
Green
Red
Blue
Gold

The red and blue because they are extremely rare and retail only releases, like the green which is undervalued imho

Same here. In your opinion, where are you seeing the best value? There has definitely been some pricing softness in the base prizm and optic (except holo), though pricing on the shorter print cards (e.g., red prizm, white sparkle, XRC) has been expanding rapidly.

They were rare, I think the print run on the Red die cuts were 35.
