Burrow has smaller hands.
It's very clear wet weather makes it hard for him to throw accurately. He also has had a problem with fumbles as well. Maybe it's the way he grips the ball -- I don't know.

Your QB lost the game for his team and the entire forum laughed at you over it.

This is too easy.

Tough to get excited about regular season wins since everyone feels strongly the 49ers not going to make it past the first round of the playoffs if they make it but Purdy's QBR this season of 68.4 would rank him 4th in the league if he qualified.

Had a 76.4 QBR against the Browns which is outstanding.

Yeah, I mean... It's one thing to squeak by the Rams early in the season (and killed later), or Seattle, and going on a run with so many injuries in the playoffs.

They are going to have winning season which I take as a moral victory.

If they get Bosa, Warner, Mykel back and have a solid draft, they should be in place for a good run next year. But Trent is near the end... they need to start thinking about that.

Whatever success they have this year is just gravy.

I would say - as an opposing fan - I don't want to see the Niners in the first round of the playoffs. They'd be a team with no pressure, most likely underdog status, but with guys who have been there before under good coaching.

There is a little bit of 2021 49ers in this bunch... they snuck into the playoffs and were a TD away from going to the SB.

But I just don't think there is enough firepower to beat the Rams, Seattle, Eagles... even the Bucs, Bears...?

I love the fire they have but the injuries feel like too much to overcome.

I feel like the Niners could pull off an early-round upset with a good game-plan. Saleh has somehow kept the defense stout with the absence of Bosa and Warner. They've only given up 30 points twice. They'll probably need to score 30 points to keep up with the Rams, though. They're 6-2 on the road. No one should blow them away, at least -- it's only happened once this season.

I think Chicago right now is the one place they wouldn't want to travel to. The Rams look good, but the other three I'd give them a solid chance at a win. It may be one-and-done, but that still ruins someone else's season.

yes somehow they've been holding together even with 0 pressure on the opposing qb. Bosa got hurt during week 3 and he's still just 2 behind the team sack leader for the season..who has 4.

Dead last in sacks

Tied with Giants, Titans and Cowboys with 4th fewest INT's

Tied for 5th most TD's given up with Giants and Commanders.

Opposing QBs have the 3rd highest completion % and 4th most yards (ahead of Bengals, Cowboys and Commanders)

Opposing QB's have a QB rating of 101.1

still able to do just enough both defensively and offensively with Jones and Purdy to get those wins

Saleh is fantastic. It's a bummer that if a team were smart, he'd be a head coach again next year.

I agree. The key will possibly be if they play a road game in the elements. This would slow down the opposing offense and allow the defense to shorten the field. The 49ers offense at this point is nearly all based on CMC and Kittle so they will not be as impacted by the elements.
