With the Jets jettisoning Mims and Elijah Moore it should leave plenty of room for Rodgers to bring in more former Packers to play WR.

A nice cheap option for the Lions, I like it for you!

The Lions last playoff win was in 1992. 31 years ago. Their last win before that? 1957. 35 years ago.

You all sure they are going to win something this season? My calendar says not another playoff win, until 2027...

I don't think you know what that means.

Making fun of the Lions, and their fan base. The laughing stock of the league for the past 65 years. Is just easy pickings.

Like when people mention teams that have gone winless over an entire season. Or teams that have been around since the start of the Super Bowl, and never played in one. Or teams that havent won a playoff game, since the 1st George Bush was in office.

Laughing at the Lions is not rent free. Its easy pickins!

Did not know the Bears were having issues with Arlington Heights. Maybe just move to Gary, IN

Its almost maddening, that some people (like this article) cant see the Bears flopped on purpose. Sure, they will never come out and say they tanked. That would be bad for the NFL. But everyone knew they were blowing the team up.

Literally the 1st thing the new GM did when got to Chicago, was gut the team on purpose. He didn't trade Mack, because he sucked. They didn't dump Quinn, because he couldn't play any more. Save the money, and tank the team.

Did anyone think they would win more than 3 games, after cutting/trading every star player that wasnt on a rookie contract?

Didn't resign WR Allen Robinson
Didn't resign DE Akiem Hicks
Didn't resign TE Jimmy Grahm
Didnt resign WR/KR Jakeem Grant

Traded LB Khalil Mack
Traded LB Roquan Smith
Traded DE Robert Quinn

Released RB Tarik Cohen
Released LB Danny Trevathan
Released DL Eddie Goldman
Released QB Nick Foles

I know the article is meant to be mean. But the Bears were not hapless last season. They did what had to be done to rebuild.

Its posturing right now. The team is trying to get tax breaks out of the county, by playing "I will take my ball and play elsewhere". Its smart of them, as the hold all the leverage. You want to tax us out? Fine, I'll flip the land to a developer and you can kiss all the tax revenue and jobs you would have gained good bye.

Other cities in the state are no lining up to court the team.

The shtick is making fun of all the teams, even if the stuff isn't true. The author is a big Minnesota fan, so his articles about the Vikings are among the best!

Oh I get that, which is why I said "I know the article is meant to be mean" But its been an ongoing narrative on the internet. That the Bears were really that bad.

They sucked! Dont get me wrong. But it wasnt by accident or failure.

Lions, never!

The division was created after the 2001 season. And zero wins. Keep waiting!

Too mean? Should I have said Super Bowl or even just Playoff win?

You're confusing waiting with optimism.

SO MUCH TALK from Bears fans! Will be so great to see the actual games!

Bears fans are NOT making bold statements and claims, like the Lions fans are. Bears fans are making fun of the Lions, and their fans for a half century of being a joke. Not talking smack about how great the Bears are.

Even this thread was created by a Lions fan, to pump up their team. With an opening post that said:

"I'll kick this off by saying I like the Lions to win the division in 2023"

In case you forgot, you were the one to make the thread and state the claims. Not sure how or why you see anything different from the other NFC North teams.

That is a lot of money, for a TE that has yet to sniff 1,000 yards in a season.

That could be because he doesn’t have a QB that can throw.
