As an owner of exactly zero prizm and optic cards and no dog in the fight, I think the annoyance is that we are in the "prizm" thread.

Hobby is going to be super expensive for everything this year. I think i'll play the wait and see approach unless i can find a good early buy in price. It's not looking very promising though. I'll probably wait until the market is flooded before i get anything.

Retail Prizm is going to be the real chase. 95% are going to be priced out of hobby, which looks like it will be a breakers exclusive. It's FOTL or die. The rest will be scurrying to store shelves trying to get whatever they can get their paws on...which probably won't be much because there'll be 10-20 dudes camped out at each target/walmart entrance daily just waiting for the Excel rep to show up.

There's going to be plenty of value in retail this year with even Zion non silver base probably commanding dumb money. That, and Bron's first Laker prizm. Prizm has always outsold its Optic counterpart despite any glaring production disparity, and I suspect this time it will be no different. Whether it happens organically or through #buyersgroup, his first prizm lakers card is going to be bonkers.

He ONLY talks about and references Prizm, as far as I know. So I don't think his uninformed pupils are even aware of the existence of Optic.

I'd bet the house on a Vegas prop that he's going to pump the life out of Zion Prizm silver and base in both PSA and raw form. He already made allusion to it months ago on the Rich Eisen show. You can take that to the bank.

I meant taking about buying wax instead of Prizms of certain player. Of course, after buying 50% of GTS or something like that.
