I know your joking and I’m with you. Though with how often this topic gets brought up and how some people express the disappointment over it, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I could also be persuaded that 3600 is a better number for HTA cases in the print run. If you take out the 26 2018 bowman guys who MAY not have HTA exclusive autos you end up with that. But that would ALSO alter a bunch of the other numbers including maybe most prominently the number of base autos each signed (much lower number).

Nobody has bothered to post HTA odds or it would be easy to tell.

I posted in BST, but can anybody help me out completing the Sterling set? I need Roberts, Devers, and Robles. Will pay $10 shipped. Thanks!

Which makes sense if you remove the 26 2018 Bowman subjects from the choice prospect autos.

54 Choice color prospects would be in the 4200-4300 case range, which matches Super distribution reasonably well.

So best evidence seems to be around 6900/4200

We are living in an era where nearly 11,000 cases of Bowman Chrome are being made?

Crazy times indeed

Not quite as crazy as 12500 cases of 2014 Topps Chrome NFL

Seeing prices around $1300 hobby $1600 HTA. How much further do they drop before taking off like last years chrome?

the display of fail on "1st Chrome" logos never ceases to amaze me when it comes to these releases

Daulton Varsho

"1st Chrome" designation on non-autos, but nothing on his Autos

Im pretty sure Jeren Kendall's Chrome base have "1st Chrome" on them, even though he was clearly in 2018 Bowman w/Chrome as a...…….'1st chrome"

*EDIT*

Add Luis Garcia to that list, had 2017 Bowman Chrome 1st chrome, and yet for 2018 Bowman chrome, theres the ole "1st Chrome" once again

haha, geez, they are so incredibly lazy

I don’t get why Jeren Kendall is in Chrome with the same damn card as Bowman.

I don't think these will ever spike to the same levels of 2017 BC. They are loaded with redemptions and an 80 player chrome auto checklist is very expansive, with a few too many being redemptions and intentional/unintentional SPs.

Sitting on 4 cases. 2 of each. Got in for a lot less than $1300 and $1600

I would not be sitting on a product with a huge--mostly bad--checklist with an 11k print run. These will drop. People are losing...bad...on this stuff.

Bad is an understatement. This is a horrendous break even at a good buy in. Factor in the inflated case prices and it gets that much worse. People are losing lots of money. I had two cases ordered and canceled due to being in between selling and buying a house. So happy right now.

This is great example of a product where I can thank this forum for saving me a lot of money that can be better wasted on something decent.

This is where it gets interesting. What exactly defines this product as a failure aside from the BO Message Board? And what affect does BO negativity have on the product?

I'm not defending it. I've broken none of it. No clue good or bad. But I do wonder the affect these boards have.

When has Bowman Chrome been good from the standpoint of a break? I did a group break of the Bryant year and the case was terrible. And it was going for $1500-$1800 a case at the time.

What is the expectation that would make this a good product with this message board? These guys are prospects. There aren't any sure things in it.

Your thoughts?

I've had excellent luck with it in group breaks. I'm a big fan of it this year.

Maybe this has been discussed already here, but has anyone else noticed what they did with Jeren Kendall?

They put the exact same card in both 2018 Bowman and 2018 Bowman Chrome. Same image, same number (BCP23), same everything. I'm curious if there will be 2 of every serial number card (i.e. two orange refractors numbered 5 out of 25). All the cards in Bowman Chrome are numbered BCP151 to BCP250, except the random BCP23 on the checklist.

edit..lol, i see Khaldrogo had the same thought as me today.
