Maybe because I still have one in my ‘saved for later’ that I could never check out. The set is back listed in my favorites but has the same red radio button as the cellos, blaster and mega. I’d post a screen cap of my Target favorites if I was allowed to

I agree. This set really did do alot of things to fill holes in Prizm/Optic, particularly with images used for rookies. Optic is fantastic for images used for veterans and Prizm sometimes does it well too, but I think this Hoops Premium release filled the holes for rookie in game action shot images needed. Alot of the images used are very reminiscent of Optic/Topps Chrome style and I really like that.

It seems like Panini has been really hesitant to ever pack too much of what everyone wants in one set (probably out of fear of cannibalizing their own brands, but Optic could easily be #1 imo if they would do something like a rookie variation which has an in-game action shot from one of their first games/rookie debut game).

Hoops Premium was a really solid step in the right direction and even though they overdid it with the number of parallels, can't deny that they all look fantastic and this brand should be here to stay. Hoops Premium has overtaken Mosaic in my opinion in the Chrome brands hierarchy for me personally.

I think in terms of pure enjoyment while ripping, Hoops Premium has gotta be in the top 3 products out there. I think outside of people getting excited for Prizm due to the value of the cards back, most people would say that the majority of cards are just boring. Boring staged photoshoot backdrops, not alot of color and parallels. People are having a blast ripping Hoops because it is more unique and has more variety of color/inserts/cool action shots.

I get it, that's what Prizm is. It's part of the brand, but I feel like it's going to get old for alot of people after a while and an increasing number of people are going to turn to brands like Optic and NBA Hoops Premium.

I ordered 3 mega boxes on the secondary market (eBay) and the person shipped them all in one bubble mailer. They were all obviously pretty smashed up. To the new people in the ‘hobby’, please learn how to ship correctly.

damn. when i bought a box set i grilled the seller over how he was going to ship. Flippers don’t realize that shipping wax is expensive, there’s no cheap way to pack blasters/megas, etc. sucks when they go this route though.
