The issue is not so much as to exactly when and how Trump started to act, it has more to do with the fact that he continued to discount and ignore this virus for so long which is a major contribute to the delayed reaction. Rather than continuing to ignore it, Trump should have been realizing the potential for it to spread and to start to consult with experts and those in his administration on a potential action plan. Maybe more steps would have been taken sooner but we will never know. But what we do know is by ignoring it there definitely wasn't any action that was going to be taken.

It is good that Trump appears to be taking this seriously now. I applaud those in his administration who finally convinced him that this was a problem. Going forward I hope people realize that while they may be disagreeing with exactly what Trump, Congress, Governors, etc are doing to try to combat the virus and keep the economy going that we are also in a state of emergency and there is not a precise game plan on how to respond to it. I am willing to give leeway right now to all those in the country that have the power to make decisions (yes, even Trump) and just hope that they continue to consult with experts to try to come up with what they feel is the best way to go about working through this crisis.

I'm absolutely fine with Trump getting the credit for it and so is the person who's been suggesting it for over a year now and had been in contact with the administration over their current plan to implement it. It doesn't matter HOW people get there, all that matters is that they get there.

Wrong. If he would’ve swallowed his pride [insert Monica joke] and listened to scientists and not his gut feeling, we most likely not been in this large of a mess. Again, maybe everything would be different if he didn’t disband his global health team in 2018.

I do applaud him for taking action now. He is finally listening to the ones who know what they are talking about. I even commented in this cesspool of a thread that he sounded Presidential at times during his press conferences. The consistency of staying on task isn’t there but he has improved. We are counting on his leadership to pull us through.

-Obama/Biden Democrats: Moderate, steady and for The People. When sh!t hits the fan, these and the party underneath this one are the ones you can count on to lead and lead well.
-Romney/McCain/Kasich Republicans: Good men for the most part. You can count on them to protect America.
-Cruz/Graham/Marco/Paul Ryan No Balls Republicans: Straight up wimps. They all talked sh!t but groveled back once Trump became leader. Weakest out of all parties.
-Trump/Cheney/QAnon Republicans: Lying, cheating, out for themselves and their interests only. They lost their souls in a poker game to the Devil. Overall havoc lovers and creators of nonsense.

You do realize Trump wanted to ban all chinese visitors to the US and all non-Americans that had recently visited China back in January. The WHO ( you know, scientists) stated that was basically useless and uncalled for. The left did their usual "he's racist, hes a xenophobe".

Just look at the site we are currently on. I have zero idea or will I speculate on others finances but it seems as people are spending a good amount on the card market. I for one would not be spending money on cards if I felt as I couldn’t sustain for several months without a paycheck or any back up plan.
You could make the argument that cards are investments and that’s why we are purchasing cards as well. At the end of the day the ones with comfort level will continue to get richer with the investing opportunities and the ones that may struggle will more than likely have to go through some rough times ahead if the situation worsens.
