Thought about subbing this one a few times but never got around to it. Pretty sharp overall!

As everyone here says, centering is essential. For a lot of collectors, that is the deciding factor on whether to buy the card or not. I'm ok with off centered. I hate scratched up surfaces.

This raw Blue sold for $1,400! It does look pretty good.

And No TBP... I didn't buy it.

I apoligize in advance for the question. The value of that card is viewed as 22, or would you look at that card as a 26.4 going forward.

Probably somewhere in between but you can bet Heritage will list it as $26,400 in the archives. I wonder if the leading bidder is the same as the leader on the Hope Diamond. They're both at the exact same bid amount.

A lot less demand on the black than the Hope and Red.

I think...

IMO the only number that matters is the actual price paid (26.4)

I think the seller would disagree with you I can understand your perspective but I think the popularity of auction houses is enough evidence that selling at auction houses inflate the value a bit. The buyer is walking away with $20k here. The truth is likely somewhere in between. Or at least that'll help me sleep at night when I think about how I sold a similar card for $20k a few months ago.

The buyers premium took it to 26,400, that would be the total cost to acquire the card.
Going forward that card should now be north of 26, which I believe would be a new high. Just trying to confirm no biggie.

That was the answer I was looking for.
I am just saying if I was the owner of a card like that and was looking to sell 26.4 would be the beginning based on the fact that someone was willing to pay that regardless if the seller did not get all of it.

But thank you jjeanius, appreciate the help.
