I mean this sincerely.
No, not at all.

I do feel like if this goes on long enough though that many businesses may never go back to where they were prior though. I can tell you that yesterday I spent all day making every employee under me a telecommuter. By the end of next week I expect our entire operation to be handled online. We’re not offering everything currently because our network isn’t secure enough to handle the different types of information we receive (we still operate faxes and mail orders for security purposes). I spent a good chunk of my day today in meetings where we basically laid out the next 7 years. We expect a 30% increase in efficiency and as such we will be letting 20% of our workforce go through attrition.

I have to believe other businesses are doing the same, meaning good jobs may be tougher to find. If others opt for what my office is doing, you could see a glut of unemployed people who just are no longer needed.

My office is 105 employees, so it’s not big by any means, but multiplied across the country who knows what the ramifications will be long term?

First off, that wasn't a meme.
As discostu accurately stated, that is a photo of a card currently available for sale from Topps, one of the major manufacturers of trading cards.
This is a card collector's forum. If anything, that image is too on-topic for off-topic.

Here's another from the same set:

But above all, I'm a peacemaker, so I have some DIY pogs for you, as a gesture of good will.

Print them up, use safety scissors to neatly cut them out, and glue them to cardboard cut to their size.
Elmer's Glue works well, but don't use too much or they'll be all wrinkled.

Noted liberal economist, Steven Mnuchin told the Republican senators today that the Coronavirus caused economy could be worse than the Great Recession of 2008, with a possible 20% unemployment rate depending on how/when the aid is issued.

That's some sobering doom and gloom.

No one will remember the beginning of this Coronavirus mess if the outcome is positive. This is where the Trump Administration can either lock up 2020 or give it away. The opposing candidate probably won't matter at this point.

I'm not convinced Trump really wants to be there next year, so he's got some baked in "outs." (Not implying, even slightly, that he's sabotaging any relief, response etc.

Our economy has been living paycheck to paycheck for about 20 years. It’ll be Mad Max if this goes into June. I hope this administration can pull us out of this tailspin.

Totally agree.

The oil prices started to put some heavy cracks in the economy, then the Coronavirus came to say hello.

This is a legacy maker.

I'm shocked by that, I actually figured Sanders would end up winning all 3 states today given his base is the younger people who I figured would be more likely to venture out to the polling stations today while the older generation who likes Biden more would be staying at home.

Seems wrong they are doing political voting stuff when everyone has been told to social distance or stay inside.

What date do you consider the start of this? What is everyone’s thought on what the start date is?

I think it started last fall but wasn't identified until Dec. I posted earlier that so many people were sick and tested negative for Flu so they called it severe URI.

When it comes to the election I think the start is when he said it would go away in a few weeks.

That's typical. You people want him out so bad that you're pinning the beginning of the coronavirus on something Trump said.

Republicans would be brilliant to give everyone 1000 bucks. People would love that and it would lead to votes

And you can’t read.

I said based on the election. Meaning when it comes time for Biden to come after trump about this that will be the starting point.

Something tells me $1000 isn’t going to cut it. Consider people not working for a month or two and the expenses they have over that time. Plus the fact most people don’t have savings and live check to check.
