Tough to say bye to a ton of talent, but writing was on the wall after so many critical SP injuries before it was even time to lock in keepers. Seems like a good opportunity to get a little younger and try to retool

J-Rod is the big get, obviously, and ecstatic to have him. Really sad to see Ragans go, think big things are in store and he's exactly the type of guy I wanted to hold. But opportunity to get J-Rod, plus a capable young pitcher in his own right in Ober, had to pull the trigger

Sad to see Judge and Olson go though, they were both big parts of my 1/2 finishes in the past 2 years, and feels like the end of a chapter. But it's also fun to have some trades to do, it gets boring when you wind up content with your team and don't feel a need to make any moves

This is the exact type of trade that explains why I never say anyone is “untouchable.” Every player has a price and I think this trade makes a lot of sense from both sides - happy to get it done.

Like my team in this league, but open to trades. Not too interested in anything in particular, would likely be based on what I'd be giving up.
