No surprises really to me other than that Jeter seems low with the foil addition.

If Topps had been doing the Foils all along there would be a greater demand, I think a good majority of P2020 collectors are meh about the foils, if they get one great, if not only a handful of folks will shell out $200-$500 for a foil parallel with print run over 100. A green refractor /99 Topps Flagship LouBob only goes for $175-$200, would you rather have a Jeter/Trout P2020 Foil or 1-2 LouBob Flagship /99 refractors?

I tend to agree.

However, if they made exactly 20 of these, and they were for 20 different players, (so they would display nicely), I think people might want them more.

It's still crazy to me that they didn't add any sort of differentiation on the foils. I can see a lot of our P2020 arts and crafts ebay sellers figuring out pretty quick that they can do the foil themselves. They look great but I don't see them holding value, maybe the Memorial Day burn is still too fresh on my heart.

Hey, they can always slap some #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@ refractor or parallel for every one of these cards next year.

The last two Jeters without foil (Naturel and Fucci) were around 3000. The Rochester was about 33% higher. This shows that people are interested in the foil to me.

I'm more surprised by the Shore Jeter not getting more of a foil bump.

It looks good, but I don't think this card shows well in foil. I think because it's too light. It would look better on a darker card

My hope -- for whatever infinitesimally small amount that is worth -- is that they do themed "mini" projects next year. Something like "Project Rookie" that is five artists and five anticipated 2021 RC cards for a 25 card run - could knock it out in a month or less. "Project Hall of Fame", hell "Project Allen & Ginter" if they were so inclined.
