The one thing Campbell does really well is anatomy but this one is just weird. She looks like one of those bendy dolls with no joints. She has no knees. Also does she normally wear one boot on one leg and a bunch of ribbons on the other?

I see her drawn different a lot when it comes to the legs and costume. Theres boots and ribbons identical on each leg, theres boots identical but one leg will have thinner/more ribbons then the other leg, theres boots different size (like Cambells) with the one leg having more ribbons and then theres sometimes one leg completely covered and the other with just a boot. But yes, one of her signature looks is having two different looking legs.

There were only 10 of those? Bummer...

Still haven't figured out the fascination with Harley Quinn. I love those JSC covers, but most of her stuff I can do without.

Another set of 10 .... will be popping up later on.

Keep your eyes open -- if you blink, you will miss them again.

I keep avoiding signed copies from his website because you can't have them graded. Or am I mistaken?

You can submit it --- and you will get this lovely green label book along with "Name Written On Cover" description.

But if you go with CBCS, you will get the generic "Authentic Signature" label.

You can sub them to CBCS and have them authenticated for an extra fee.

I bought his Renew Your Vows 1 and 2 Variant sets and had them signed at SDCC last year without a witness. I sold the #1 set on the Bay and used the money to buy a color copy of RYV #1 SS. My first CGC SS slab. Maybe I'll send the other set into CBCS. Thanks for the tip.

Unless this video was taken some time ago, or J Scott has really changed his look, that was not Campbell. I dont think I have ever seen a picture or seen him in person without a beard or stubble of some sort, nor have I ever seen him with long hair. In any case, this person does the Campbell style really well.

Yeah, when I saw the hair I was thinking the same..it came up under a search for Campbell drawing when I was browsing YouTube.

...I think it was done by the uploader Ayem judging by the comments.

Default J Scott Campbell appreciation thread

The video is from a guy doing a Campbell rendition. It's still pretty impressive.

"Name written on the cover" has to be the DUMBEST thing ever. Has CGC ever provided a rational explanation for not accepting COAs as legitimate documentation that the signature is real? Sure, those can be forged just like signatures, but with all the hoops that CGC seems to jump through for SOOOO many other minute details I'm sure they could figure out some manner of control around COAs.

That's not even the worst part. That specific book has a notation on the top under the logo that says "signature series". You can't just get one of those off the shelf, it's legit.

I asked them if they would slab a book with the COA included in the slab, so you would see the COA from the back view... Guess what they said
