Now even Toussant is pitching better, the guy is wild as all getup but has retired 8 in a row until the Rizzo walk.

Well better be batter to batter if Ward gets on. Marinaccio is hanging the ball nice generous call for strike 3.

Boone did good tonight managing the bullpen through 7 relief innings.

Judge continued to show off to the hometown crowd why he'sthe MVP and not Ohtaini.

I love that Weissert bounced back from that first rough debut (probably jitters) and earned his first win.

I wish Boon would consistently have the lineup with Beni, DJ, Judge, Stanton. I think that's the best lineup to get the offense started.

Thankfully Clay Holmes is back off the IL too.

Bader is now hitting off a tee.

Severino begins rehab assignment tomorrow or Friday.

Britton has a glute injury but may start seeing game action again this weekend.

Just saying that in response to Nevin walking Judge although it was the smart move. I didn’t know Ohtani had that low of a batting average against the Yankees it always seems like he is doing damage.

.196 career, .300 this year. .160 last year but 4 HR in 7 games. Amazing how small sample sizes work.

So did I pass the eye test. I will admit I am not a numbers guy although I do think some are useful but others are just overkill.

Maybe that's what we need someone to do with the bat. We haven't had a good bat twirler since Leyritz.

If he's in the MVP conversation, at least let him beat you to prove he's worthy. Besides, Judge needs one more IBB to tie and 2 to take away one of the few things Ohtaini leads the league in.

Judge will pass him in intentional walks because when the Yankees play other teams still in playoff contention they will do their best to take Judges bat out of the equation. As long as the Yankees put a decent lineup around judge meaning the batting order specifically he should still get pitches to hit. I personally don’t think it would be a big deal anyway if Ohtani beat him in that stat it’s not like either one would ever match Barry Bonds in that category anyway.

Did he have a major injury or something? He used to be really good.

Lead is down to 6 only and now it's head to head with Tampa. It's going to be way too interesting for my liking.
