Hey, does anyone know if Blake still takes send ins for signing his cards? I have some from 3 or 4 months ago that I meant to send and just found them again.

Yes, I believe he stated that once all his cards have been released, there will be a short amount of time left for collectors to send cards in to him, then he's not going to offer that service any more.

Yes. Not hating on the cards but these releases have not been the best IMO, maybe it is a combination of a lot of things but less time to work on a card could lead to issues. Also could be overload on my part.

I ordered four cards from him back in JUNE, totally forgot about it until I got a shipping notification two weeks ago tomorrow. Haven't received the cards and the tracking shows they haven't been mailed yet.

I want to say I have heard most if not all of the artists had already completed all the cards. Just waiting for Topps to release them

I haven't been disappointed this week. The beginning of last week was MUCH worse. So, I assume this is just random variability and a difference in what people collect/like.

In other words, I don't make anything of 0/9 and 1/9 posts.

Also, my expectations were low coming in to the last ~40 cards of the set b/c the artists that I usually collect (Ermsy, Rochester) are releasing cards that I usually don't collect (McGwire, Rivera, Jeter). When I see Sandy Koufax or Mariano Rivera or McGwire cards that I want to look at more than once, Christmas has come early for me.

Blake's Thomas is one of Blake's Top 3 cards, imo. Clean & Different w/ homage to the NNO. Love the different take.

I am doing a complete run of Jamieson and of Thomas, so this was one, I was looking forward to. At first I scoffed. However, this is a great reimagination of the card. The border is classic with no name variation and the image is just a subset of the original. I don't think it is his best work, but I like it overall.

Interesting, I have really liked Rochester more and more, almost everything Ichiro and after I like. Ermsy has been consistent to me, and I think his McGwire is one of my favorites.

But this is what I like about the project, so many different likes, dislikes, and okays. Will be sad to see it end.

What are you top 5 Thomas cards so far? I have gone back and picked up a few of his, I like the cards that use the original color scheme.

Agree with this, and I never really get in to hits per release for a week. Given the artists and players that have released, I'm not really surprised at my overall opinion. That said, several of these cards are much worse than I imagined them being, and only two were better.

Sorry! I typed too quickly: I didn't mean that the Ermsy McGwire was bad. I meant that I'm not collecting McGwire cards in general, so I had 0 excitement for it.

I do like the Ermsy McGwire. It's the first McGwire card in the set that I ordered. I may go back and get a few others at some point (Efdot, Naturel, Fucci, Siff).

Only 2 for 9 this week, after the big week last week. Running out of weeks on this! Still many anticipated cards coming. I'm going to miss the rush after card 400 is released.

Not an easy answer. I guess I would say that the Chang, Naturel, and Taylor look good as a group of 3 and bracket that with the Fucci and Shore and it makes it more clear what those more whimsical cards were representing. The Thomas card wasn't a great image to start with, but I think several of the artists did a great job. (I think the Leaf RC would have been a better image for the artists.)

I really like the Thiele as a stand alone and hopefully I find a foil at home for me today, but I don't like the contribution to my set/display.

I do not like OMA version at all.

I agree I never have been caught up on the amount of cards liked vs. disliked in a particular week, just stood out to me since the 3 card a day release. Made me wonder if there was a correlation on the amount of time to complete the card.

Anyone know which artists have been going card to card for the most part?

My guess based on posts, discussion, etc:
Efdot, Jamieson, Beck, Taylor, JK5, Chang, Don C,

vs those that have done it ahead of time for the most part?

Thiele, Rochester, Grotesk, Ermsy, Baller, Vides

I've picked up the Clemente and Gwynn so far this week. Now I'm debating on the Sandy and Big Hurt from today. Unlike most, I really like the Siff Clemente. I kind of wish that one would have the foil parallel.
