If the Dems try to proscute him how petty and nasty they are. That would be the first strike against them losing in a wave in the mid-terms in 2022 because instead of showing they are willing to move on and heal the country they want to be petty nasty idiots.

I was wondering this as well. Trump may have been fighting for a lot more than just the presidency in this race. Maybe he'll sneak out of the country before his time is up.

If he deserves to be prosecuted, then he should be prosecuted. I don't see how it being petty or nasty has anything to do with it.

I felt the same way about Hillary. Unfortunately it never happened, but not form lack of trying.

If the man committed crimes, he deserves to go to jail.

The word 'petty' better describes the way Trump is acting right now.

Maybe Trump can give one giant finger then to all the people saying he committed crimes. He resigns on Jan. 19th Pence then takes office and gives Trump a blank pardon on all the so called crimes the dems want to charge him with.

I pointed this out earlier but the narrative of the campaign was Trump putting Hillary in prison.

Once he won, that was abandoned. It's just yackity yack to rile up a group of voters; to actually follow-through would be very bad for the party in power. You've defeated Trump; to prosecute him keeps him in the news as a victim and that's not a W.

Amazing recommendation to circumvent the legal system.

No presidential pardon will negate any state prosecution and the NYAG is investigating Trump.

Agree. The best way to forget about trump is to move on and forge ahead.

trump is a loser now and losers should be forgotten.

I felt like I had read that they had stuff ready to go but it’s illegal to prosecute a sitting president or something? Am I crazy?

I would agree it would be a bad look for Biden if his DOJ were to prosecute Trump, even if they have evidence. It would appear to be petty on his part. However New York has been investigating and if there is evidence of criminal action by Trump then they should go ahead and prosecute. If there isn't any or enough evidence then they shouldn't.

(It's a little harsh up there) but ultimately Trump will be part of the past. If things in the country improve in time (media, social media, temperature of everyone etc.) then people will look back on Trump and think "what a crazy time". I don't believe the emotion some feel toward him now will be felt much longer.

If however that does not happen and we're not figuring some of these things out, then the emotion probably holds. As irrational as it sounds, I spit every-time I hear the name "Drew Storen" ... some will do the same w/ DJT.
