I'm still optimistic we win the next game. While we don't have Tatum anymore, we almost won the first two games (lost by a combined 4 points) when he didn't shoot very well. 11 missed 3 pointers in the first game and 5 turnovers.

I think Joe will ask for Payton Pritchard to step up and be more assertive. I think when he is on the floor they get better ball movement and good things happen. He can create his own shot, but he can also get into the paint anytime he wants and create for others. Percentage wise he is a better shooter than Tatum and takes better control of the ball, but he also would get more open looks because Tatum often draws two. We still have a chance if everyone locks in on defense and they get the ball hopping on offense. Maybe Sam will be back and Porzingas said last night he felt that his stamina was the best it has felt in weeks.

Last night it felt like we were going through the motions defensively. We handled the Knicks 4 times in the regular season but somehow blow a 20 point lead, another 20 point lead, then a 14 point lead in the playoffs. This is not how anyone predicted it.

I just want to say that I absolutely HATED seeing Tatum get injured like that even though I've been critical of him in this thread

You never want to see a star player get injured in the playoffs
