I searched within this thread, but didn't see any mention of it. Why did Gunnar not have a chrome parallel? Crazy that he would be excluded from that set.

Late to the party on this stuff, but figured I’d post a brief breakdown of highlights from 5.25 cases we opened over the past few months. Three were great. One was ok. One was horrible.

Black chrome /74 - 4 - Michael Harris, Julio Rodriguez, Cedric Mullins, Jeter Downs
Stamp card /50 - 1 - Reggie Jackson
Nickname variation - 1 - Baez
Image Variations - a bunch, but notables were Gunnar x3, Carroll, Trout, Ohtani
SSP Rookie - Walker, Senga
Mini /100 - 3 - Tatis, Riley, Votto
Puzzle - 2 - Trout, Soto
Flip stock /5 - 2 - Seth Brown, 22 Rookie Pitchers
Gold relic /99 - 2 - Hoerner, I forget the other one. Bregman maybe?
Blue Autos - 13 - Adley, Gunnar x2, Ted Simmons, Jeff Burroughs, Schwarber, Grissom, Capel, Langeliers, Velasquez, Bieber, Duran, and some Pirates pitcher
Red Autos /74 - 2 - Gunnar, Mountcastle

Absolutely killed it on the autos and black chromes. So many Orioles. If you remove the one terrible case with two garbage autos and nothing worth mentioning, it looks even better.

I see blowout has a 40-box blaster case for $400. Hard to go wrong at $10/box, but is it that bad? Can you get anything out of blasters?

I opened a hanger case a little while back. Two relics, two chrome nobodies and a /999 chrome Carroll. That was it. Don’t buy heritage retail.

Seconded. Stick to hobby. It was $600 a case for Black Friday, and I have a feeling it will be at or near that again soon enough.

NM, searching eBay solds I see it went for very mortal prices($2-3 shipped). Just the current sellers have it absurdly priced, similar to the dale Murphy picture day cards from 2022 archives snapshots.

Not sure why, but those rookie combos definitely sell for more. I listed 320 SPs all at $2.49 except the combo cards @$2.99 and those combos sold the fastest.

found a couple 2022 HHN mega boxes (monster, whatever they are called) at an LCS and picked them up in the hopes of pulling a J-Rod or Bobby Witt chrome of some sort. I have been completely shut out of either in a chrome in all the 2022 HHN I have opened and I got skunked again and pretty crushed on the rip.

Heritage high is always a giant gamble, even cheap. In my experience, assume a loss and be pleasantly surprised by "OK."
